Chapter Twenty-Five

"Mhoto, I'm sorry but Nia passed soon after Uru did", said Mufasa. Mhoto started crying. The young lion cub was confused. Sarabi was confused as well but couldn't get over the fact that the cub resembled so much like her mother. "Sir, how do you know my mother?" Asked Sarabi.

Mhoto was shocked but hugged her. "Oh my! She had cubs?!" Asked Mhoto. "Yes, Mhoto she shortly became pregnant after you left to go form a new Pride", said a voice. He turned around and saw Nina. He ran to her and hugged her. "Oh my gosh! I haven't saw you since forever", said Mhoto. "I know but why do you need to see Nia?" Asked Nina.

"I really missed her so much. It really haven't been the same without her. I did become king and I did find a rogue lioness. I tried my best to move on but as soon as this baby was born. I really needed to find her but whenever my new mate passed away. I had to really find her", said Mhoto. Diku and Dwala walked to him in anger. "You left our mother and us for another mate and a cub?!" Asked Diku.

Mhoto was shocked to find out that Nia had more than one cub. "I'm so sorry. She never told me. I never really fit in with the Pride. Your mother was the only one who made me feel welcome. She accepted me to leave. I did eventually have to find another mate but I never loved her as much as I loved Nia", said Mhoto.

Dwala noticed the lion cub that resembled her mother smiling at her. "Is she our sister?" Asked Dwala. "Yes. Her name is Ãnanda", said Mhoto. Sarabi was still staring at Ãnanda. "Dad, why does she resemble Nia?" Asked Sarabi. "I'm not sure. My mate gave birth to her", said Mhoto. Mufasa soon realized something. "Maybe Nia was reincarnated to her", said Mufasa. Sarabi was shocked but agreed with him. "That's real?" Asked Ajabu. Ajabu walked to them. "That's our adoptive brother, Ajabu", said Sarabi. Mhoto smiled and hugged his new family. Mufasa smiled while Scar sighed. "Should we tell dad about this?" Asked Scar.

"Scar, dad is holding a vigil right now", said Mufasa. Scar sighed. Mufasa lead Mhoto and his daughter to the main den. "As soon as my dad finishes his vigil. I'll bring him to you", said Mufasa. Mhoto nodded and smiled. Scar and Mufasa walked together. "Scar, that was not nice what you said earlier about mom! That was disrespectful!" Said Mufasa. "What?" Asked Scar. Mufasa growled and ignored him. "Shut it", said Mufasa. Scar rolled his eyes but saw familar brown lioness carrying a brown little cub. "There's someone", said Scar.

Mufasa looked at the lioness. "That's Naanda but she has a cub. That must be someone else's cub", said Mufasa. Naanda walked to them and put down her cub. Her cub's eyes opened and they were red like Zira's and Jasiri's. Scar was shocked. "Scar. Mufasa. Please let me back in the Pride. I am being chased by a crazy male lion and a snake", said Naanda. Mufasa nodded. "Your sister has been worried about you", said Mufasa. "I understand and this is my son, Azizi. He's the crazy lion's son", said Naanda.

Scar kind of felt bad but didn't care at the same time. She didn't look at Scar but Azizi giggled at Scar and tugged on his tail. "Azizi, quit it! I'm sorry, he likes to tug on tails", said Naanda. "Come with me, Naanda. Your family is dying to be with you", said Mufasa. Mufasa, Naanda, and Azizi walked to the main den.

Sarabi saw her. Her eyes were full of tears. She ran and hugged Naanda. "Oh my! You were pregnant?" Asked Sarabi. "I was pregnant after I was exiled. It wasn't Scar. It was the Outland Leader", said Naanda. Diku, Dwala, and Ajabu noticed her and hugged her.

Mhoto was confused but walked to her to hug her. "Who is this?" Asked Naanda. "This is our father, Naanda. He was looking for mom", said Sarabi. Naanda was shocked but hugged Mhoto. She saw Ãnanda and was shocked as she was the splitting image of Nia but smiled as her son Azizi was bonding with her already.
