Chapter 11

Third P.O.V.

It's been a few months since Athena came back to Seabrook. Willa and Athena were cuddling in Willa's room. 

"Do you think we'd ever have children?" Willa asks.

"Probably, but we'd adopt them. Why?" Athena said.

"I know that Squeaky and Squirmy have their dad. But what if we adopt them after Mr. Smee dies?" Willa asks and Athena looks at her.

"I'll think about it babe." Athena said before she fell asleep.

-Time Skip-

It's now been a few weeks since Athena and Willa talked about having children. Athena was sitting in her room when her aunt Missy walked in.

"Sweetheart, you have a visitor." Missy said and Athena looked confused.

Athena got up and walked out the living room to see Ben, Mal and Grumpy.

"Ben? Mal? What are you two doing here?" Athena asks.

"Mr. Smee had died in his sleep. We had a lawyer read his will. And in it it said that Squeaky and Squirmy are going to be put into custody with you and Willa. Meaning that you two are now the legal guardians of Squeaky and Squirmy." Ben said and Athena gasped.

"Have you guys done an autopsy and figured out what happened?" Athena asks.

"We have and nothing really happened. The doctors think old age has finally caught up to him and he went through during his sleep. We need you and Willa to either come to Auradon or drop the boys off here with you and Willa." Mal answered.

"I have to call Willa." Athena said and that's when Willa ran in.

"I already called her for you." Missy told her niece.

"Thank you, Aunt Missy."  Athena said.

"What happened?" Willa demanded.

"Mr. Smee died and he had a will. And the twins are going under your custody." Mal said and Willa looked between her girlfriend and her brother.

"Alright, we'll take them. You know how close they are to us. But how did they react to their father being dead?" Willa asks gently.

"They didn't quite take it so well. They balled their eyes out and kept asking for the two of you." Ben answered.

"Shouldn't we just tell them?" Grumpy asks and the girlfriends looked confused.

"Fine." Ben said.

"The twins are waiting in the limo. They are just waiting for-" Mal started to say but both girlfriends ran out of the house and towards the limo.

Addison and Bree who just walked in looked very confused.

"Uh what was that about?" Addison asks before she sees Ben and Mal.

Athena opens the door and she is tackled by two little people. She laughs as everyone in the Wells household all watches from the window.

"Hello, little ones. But I do believe there is one more person you need to greet." Athena said and the twins run to Will and hug her.

Athena had gotten up and walked over. She joined the group hug and smiled down at the twins who were already looking up at them.

"We've missed you two so much." Willa said and the twins smiled bigger.

"We've missed you too." Squeaky spoke quietly but happily and the couple laugh.

Athena looked from back at the house before she looked at her girlfriend and adopted sons. This was going to be her new family. Forever and Always.
