After the long period of peace and sharing, people began gathering recourse to build their own houses. The path from the community house was built, often called the prime path. Along side of it, people built their houses. They made a city. And it was beautiful. Then dream made what some would call a mistake which eventually lead to the first real lore.
Dream invited up and coming youtuber Tommyinnit. Also known as Tommy. And so it began.
Tommy was obnoxious and managed to be banned from the server on the first day, but his inclusion brought up views so he was let back in and kinda calmed down for a bit.
Then the prank wars began.
Ponk played a prank on sapnap which caused sapnap to retaliate and sapnap burnt down ponks house. It launched a whole war, mainly between those two.
Tommy made videos, calling the server the dream smp or the dsmp. It stuck.
Trying to bring peace to the server, dream told Tommy he could choose one person to invite to the server. He invited his best friend, Tubbo.
Dude named fundy joined. He stayed neutral. Hell come up later though.
Instead of bringing peace, Tommy and Tubbo joined sapnap in the prank war. To even it out, ponk was joined by Alyssa and a new member, Punz.
During this, Tommy built his base and did some of the only grinding he's done to this day and managed to get a netherite chest plate out of it. Sapnap stole it. Tommy still sided with sapnap though because the other team stole from him as well.
Tubbo mostly rebuilt stuff as things were destroyed. Then a dude named purpled joined. More on him later.
