L'manberg Elections

If you recall, L'manberg was founded to stand against tyranny. But Wilbur was a self elected president and some people were simply not ok with that.

So Wilbur decided that they were to hold an election. With him as the only candidate. After all, who would run against him?

Apparently people would run against him.

The election originally only had two parties competing: POG2020 and SWAG2020, but would eventually grow to include Coconut2020 and Schlatt2020.

Pog2020 or politicians of gaming, was Wilbur spot and Tommy. Wilbur for president, Tommy for VP.

Swag2020 or So We are Gamers was Quackity for president and George for VP

Coconut 2020 was fundy for president with Niki for vp

Shlatt 2020 was Shlatt for president, and he joined just days before the election.

The two main party's were pog and swag because Shlatt was new and absolutely no one cared about coconut ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

K. Now it gets complicated. Hang in there. LOTS of corruption.

Tommy creates a wall of signs filled with "quotes" from Quackity's Twitter on L'Manberg's wall in an attempt to run a smear campaign against SWAG2020.

Both parties decide to hold a presidential debate in Tubbo's sky courthouse.

Before the debate, Quackity announces that George will be his running mate for the election.
During the debate, Fundy attempts to join with his own party, but is rebuffed by Wilbur. He later takes Quackity's side, leaving Wilbur distraught.

The debate ends with no clear winner. Wilbur leaves angrily, accusing the moderators of bias towards the SWAG party.

Tommy is assassinated by Dream, but it apparently doesn't count as a cannon life.

In a flashback to the past on Quackity's stream on April 12, 2021, Quackity and Wilbur are then seen talking on top of a hill near L'Manberg.

Quackity asks Wilbur what his drive is, Wilbur responding that he wants protection for his people.
Quackity asks if he can get to know Wilbur a bit better, but Wilbur declines, stating it's 12 days before the election.

Quackity continues, saying that there is a good side to everyone, and that he tried to join L'Manberg, but was rejected. Wilbur then rejects what he says.

Wilbur continues, saying that to make changes, he will need power through revolutions, as scenes from the SMP history (yet to come, from Quackity and Wilbur's perspective) flash across the screen.Tommy and Tubbo burn down Quackity's unfinished mansion and then start work on a nuclear fallout bunker near Fundy's base.

Tommy attempts to convince Sapnap to join his side and vote for POG2020.
Sapnap tells Tommy that he must publicly denounce Fundy if he wants his vote.Tommy proceeds to do so, which causes Fundy to officially form his party, Coconut2020, with Niki as his running mate. He keeps this campaign a secret from Wilbur.

Throughout a few streams, Quackity repeatedly builds houses on Tommy's lawn and above his house, but they keep getting taken down. He eventually settles on a hastily built McDonald's restaurant.

The two main parties, POG2020 and SWAG2020, give speeches to the citizens of L'Manberg and the Dream SMP.

Fundy and Niki join to announce their campaign, Coconut2020, much to Wilbur's annoyance. Fundy gives a convincing speech, but when Wilbur asks if they have any endorsements, both members abruptly log off in a panic.

SWAG2020 brings forward KSI as their endorsement, but can't provide any proof that he's actually endorsed them.

POG2020 bring forward both a video of endorsement from Vikkstar.
Jschlatt is unbanned from the server, and is brought forward as POG2020's second endorsement. That doesn't go as planned.

Instead of endorsing POG2020, Schlatt accidentally endorses Coconut2020 and then announces his campaign running under the party Schlatt2020.
Dream gives Schlatt his prized crossbow and the two begin hunting down their competitors. Dream REALLY doesn't like L'manberg.

The poll on Wilbur's Twitter officially opens, with the two new emerging parties also included as options.
While hiding from Schlatt, Wilbur attempts to get Quackity to agree to combine their parties into one to secure their possible win.
Quackity refuses, saying that they would only try to use him.
He instead agrees to form a coalition with Schlatt, as he has been promised a position in his cabinet if their joint party wins.

In Karl's wedding venue in his Harry Potter house, Quackity goes through three consecutive failed marriages with Karl, Schlatt and then Eret. He does this stuff a lot. Just putting that in there.

Hbomb joins. Neeto.

The poll closes and pog won! Swag was close behind, shlatt got very little and again, no one cares about coconut.

But then Quackity announces publicly that shlatt and swag are combined and the two scores together just barely overcome pog. Wilbur and Tommy lost.
