We arrive to Reefer Ricks house and it was empty dustin kept yelling Rick and Eddie's name. Steve and Dustin kept arguing about dustin screaming their names when max calls all of us and shows us the boathouse. We open the door to the boathouse and look around. "Maybe he is calling for him and ran off" I hear robin say.
I go to lift the tart because Steve isn't doing much with the oar. All of a sudden someone rushed out and pins me against the wall with something sharp to my neck.
"Whoa whoa whoa" I say holding my hands up in surrender.
"Whoa Eddie" Dustin says. Oh so this is Eddie.
"Whoa Eddie stop it's me it's Dustin" "this is y/n. She's my sister alright and this is Steve he isn't going to hurt you right Steve" Dustin says
"Steve why don't you put down the oar" I say. Steve then drops the oar.
"What are you doing here?" Eddie asks. While applying more pressure to my neck.
"We're looking for you." Dustin says.
"We want to help" I say looking directly into his eyes to see he's looking directly into mine. "Eddie, these are my friends. You know Robin, from band." Dustin says pointing to Robin as Eddie looks over to her. "And max the one that never plays D&D. Eddie. We're on your side. I swear on my mother. Right guys?" Dustin says.
"Yes we swear on Dustin's mother." Max, Steve, and Robin agree. "Yeah right my mother" I say. Eddie then let's go of me and sits down on the ground. I feel a tiny bit of blood trickle down my neck but, I'm not bothered by it.
"We just want to know what happened" I say. "You won't believe me" he says.
"Try us" max says.
"Her body just lifted into the air she just hung there. In the air. And her bones- and her bones just started to snap. Her eyes man, it-it was like there was something like, inside her head, pulling. I- I didn't know what to do, so I- I ran away. I left her there. You all think I'm crazy, right?" Eddie explains.
"No we don't" Dustin says. "Don't bullshit me man I know how it sounds!" Eddie exclaims. "We believe you" max says.
Then Dustin goes onto to telling him how Hawkins is cursed. I turn it out and start walking around the boathouse looking at everything. Then I start to hear this weird banging noise I turn to look at the others to see if they hear it too but I don't see them anymore. It sounds like. A clock? I walk to where I hear the clock and see it's on the side of ricks house like it was forged in. That's weird I've never seen a clock like this in Ricks house let alone on the side of the wall outside. As I get closer to the clock reality set back in and I'm back in the boat house.
"Vecnas curse" I hear Dustin say. "Who's vecna?" I ask walking back over to everyone. "An undead creature of great power" he says.
"A spell caster" Eddie says. "A dark wizard" dustin finishes.
The next day we go back to ricks house. "Delivery service" Dustin says. Eddie sighs in relief.
"So we got some good news and some bad news." I say. "How do you prefer it?" Dustin asks.
"Bad news first, always." He says while eating.
"All right, bad news we tapped into Hawkins PD dispatch with our Cerebro, and they're definitely looking for you" dustin says.
"Also they're pretty convinced you killed Chrissy." As max said that tears brim up in my eyes. I can't believe she's dead. If only I talked to her more maybe she wouldn't be dead.
"Your name hasn't gone public yet" Robin says. "Hunt the freak right?" Eddie says.
"So before that happens, we find vecna, kill him, and prove your innocence." Dustin states. "That's all dustin, that's all?" Eddie's says
"Listen Eddie, I know everything that Dustin is saying sounds really insane but we've actually been through this before. I mean they have a few times and I have once." Robin states.
"Actually I've never been through it before but I believe Dustin he wouldn't lie to me." I state. As Eddie looks at me and I see in his eyes that he trusts me.
"We usually rely on the girl with super powers, but, uh those went bye bye" Steve says.
"So we're technically in the kinda" Dustin trails off. "Brainstorming phase" max finishes. "There's nothing to worry about" dustin says.
