Chapter 7: crazy train

As we were following the compass I stopped walking for a bit. I was in the back so no one really noticed. I then heard the clock again. "Times up, y/n" the voice, that I figured was Vecna, says. He starts walking towards me and I ran away. "WHAT DO YOU WANT FROM ME!" I scream. "I want you to join me y/n." He says.

Dustins pov:
We stopped at the lake. "It keeps going." I say looking back at everyone. I then look back to where y/n was and she was gone. "Where's y/n?" I ask Eddie seeing as he was the one closest to her. "Shit!" He screamed seeing she wasn't there. We all started calling her name coming back the way we came. We then saw her just standing there. "Y/n?!" Eddie says running up to her. Eddie starts shaking her like he's trying to wake her up. "This is exactly what happened to Chrissy!" Eddie says in a panic. "Shit!" I exclaim. Then robin realizes something. "What's her favorite song?" She asks me. "I DONT KNOW WHY IS THAT IMPORTANT RIGHT NOW?!" I yell. "BECAUSE IT COULD SAVE HER." She yells back.

*flashback*
Eddie's pov:

I tapped her on the shoulder because I was bored. She took off her headphones and I heard a glimpse of her song before she paused it and I recognize it right away. "Crazy train?" I ask in disbelief. "What?" She asks. "The song. By Ozzy Ozbourne" I state pointing to her Walkman. "Oh yeah. It's my favorite song right now." She says while laughing.
*end of flashback*

Eddie rushes over to me grabbing my backpack and searching for something and finds y/n's Walkman. He puts her crazy train cassette in and puts the headphones on her and hits play as she starts to lift in the air.

Your pov:
Vecna had cornered me and I realized this is how I'll die. I didn't even get to give a proper goodbye and that's when I hear it. It's very faint but I know it. It's crazy train my favorite song. "No one is coming to save you" Vecna says. I grow confidence. " yes they are." I say ripping out a piece of his neck and running. Things were falling all around me some making me fall over but I get back up and run as fast as I can to get to the portal. I ran through the portal and woke up from my trance and I fall to the ground. Eddie catches me and hugs me tightly. "You're okay. You're okay." He repeats as I'm breathing heavily and hugging him back tightly. I looked at my Walkman in my pocket and see my crazy train cassette then I looked back at Eddie. "You remembered?" I asked. "Of course I did" he says right before kissing my forehead.

(If you don't want crazy train to be your favorite song you can change just remember this is in the 80's so it should be an 80's song I was going between crazy train and you give love a bad name because those are my two favorites right now)
