~Sting's P.O.V.~
"My feet are tiiiiiiirrreeedd," I whined, shuffling my feet across the smooth marble tiles.
"We've only been walking for 10 minutes," Jessie muttered, crossing her arms.
"Ehhh??? But it's felt like forever!" I groaned.
"Suck it up." I pouted at her.
"You would never make a good mommy at all.." I muttered under my breath. I quickly snapped it shut when I realized that Jessie has dragon hearing. Her eyes quickly focused on mine and I could feel my face flush. She looked away from me, and I noticed her cheeks turn slightly pink. It kinda suits her.
"Why would you think about that?" she mumbled, but I faintly heard it.
"F-forget I said anything," I stuttered. Jessie simply shrugged and we continued walking in awkward silence. As we walked, I felt this kind of force make my feet abruptly stopped. My mind started to feel a bit hazy as well. Jessie frowned and stopped walking.
"Why'd you stop?" she asked, raising an eyebrow. I didn't answer her and instead turned my head to the right. In the corner of my eye I could see her do the same. "A toy store....really?" she facepalmed.
"SHH!" I said, tugging on her dress and pointing at a certain toy at the display case. "I want that."
~Jessie's P.O.V.~
He's such a kid... I facepalmed. "What is that?" I asked, not sure what he was pointing at. He groaned out loud and took ahold of my hand. My face flushed at the gesture but I allowed him to pull me towards the toy store. He led me all the way to the display window and pointed his pointer finger (yes I know the irony) at a white stuffed dragon. It had a small beard below its stitched mouth and had golden yellow buttons for eyes. It had a big white furry mane over its head. Damn you heart... I scowled in my head as I felt a pang of sadness in said organ. It had only been a day since we were drinking about our sorrows, and yet..
"It looks like Weisslogia." I returned back to reality at the sound of Sting's high pitched voice.
"W-what?" I said, a bit surprised. The look on his face seemed sad and his eyes reflected that as well.
"I said it looks like Weisslogia," he mumbled. I smiled sadly at him and squeezed his shoulder.
"Well what do you want me to do?" I asked softly. Sting closed his eyes and opened them with a cheeky smile.
"Buy it," he answered. I blinked a couple times.
"E-eh?" I blinked. "EHH???" I seriously could not believe this.
"Yup!" Sting smiled a broad grin. "I want it!"
"D-demo, that thing's like 10,000 jewel!" I stuttered, looking at the price tag. Sting childishly pouted and anime tears started flowing down his face.
"B-but it looks like Weisslogia and I m-miss him.." he said in a fake hiccuping voice. Even though I could tell he was faking, I still felt guilty.
"O-oh c'mon, stop crying..." I sweatdropped, patting him on the back. It was starting to get embarrassing as more and more people were giving me weird looks. "Alright alright, just stop crying!" I finally gave in. Almost immediately he stopped and dragged me into the toy store. "C-choto!" I said as he literally dragged me through the toy store. There were little kids running around and tired parents pinching the bridges of their noses. Is this what it takes to raise child...? I sweatdropped in my head.
"Over there!" Sting tugged my hand, pointing at the Weisslogia toy at the display window. Without me following him, he ran off towards it.
"O-oi, mattay!" I called after him, but by then he was too far away to reach. I could do nothing but watch as his hands went for the stuffed white dragon. Before he could reach it however, another pair of hands took the toy.
"Mommy Mommy look!" a boy with dark brown hair and green eyes showed the dragon to a woman with the same shade of brown but had onyx eyes.
"You want this huh?" the woman chuckled. The boy nodded with excitement.
"Uh-huh uh-huh!" he grinned. I smiled at the heartwarming sight.
"How cute..." I smiled to myself. "How I wish--EH?!? °⌓º " My jaw dropped as I watched Sting snatch the dragon out of the boy's hands.
"Mine!" Sting growled.
"B-but I got it first," the boy whimpered, looking as if he was on the verge of tears. Sting smirked and stuck out his tongue at him.
"Too bad!" he smirked before running off back to me. He held out the stuffed dragons and smiled innocently. "Here you go!" he chirped. I sweatdropped and looked up to see the little boy sobbing. The woman gave me a death glare before calming the boy and walking out of the store.
"Sting.." I sighed.
"Hai?" he replied in an innocent tone.
"Did you really have to steal this toy from him?"
"Well I saw it first!" he hmphed before tugging on my hand again. "Now c'mooooon, pay for it!" I rolled my eyes.
"Hai hai.."
