~Rogue's P.O.V.~

The awkward silence was back again between me and Yukino. I had no idea what to say to her, and my..child form was not helping that. "S-so....where do you want to go Rogue-sama?" Yukino asked softly.

"I-I don't know," I stuttered, looking around at all the different stores. "Where do you want to go?"

"A-ano..how about we just walk around?" she suggested.

"Sure.." And so we were aimlessly walking around the mall, just looking around at all the decorations. Now the silence is back again ಥ_ಥ I cried in my head. How is Sting able to flirt so easily..? All of a sudden I bumped into something soft. I looked up to see that I bumped into, not just Yukino, but her...!

"A-ah, gomenasai Rogue-sama," Yukino apologized, not noticing me bumping into her and my face completely red. Can kids even nosebleed at this age?! I thought in my head.

"I-i-iya, it's fine," I stuttered, shaking my head to get rid of the blood rush. "Why did you stop?" I notice her cheeks turn a slight tint of pink as she shakes her head.

"It's nothing," she said, giving me a small smile for proof. "I was just..."

"Just...?" I frowned, waiting for her to finish.

"J-just.." she mumbled. She glanced over to something behind me, so I turned around to see a jewelry store. My eyes widened as I realized that she wanted something from over there. I used my dragon slayer abilities to my advantage and saw that she was looking at a necklace with a feather pendant in the middle. I also saw that it cost about 10,000,000 jewel... "Just looking at something, that's all," Yukino finally finished her sentence. "C'mon Rogue-sama, we can continue." I think she gestured for me to follow her, but I didn't. There was some kind of force urging me to stay in my position. I could feel some kind of feeling course through my veins, making my mind a little hazy. "Rogue-sama?" Yukino frowned. She reached for my arm, but I turned my arm into a shadow before she could reach it.

"I'll be right back," I murmured before completely turning into a shadow and snaking away.

~Yukino's P.O.V.~

"R-Rogue-sama!" I called for him, but with the immense amount of people, I lost sight of his shadows. "Where did he go.." I frowned, looking for him. It's not like him to just run off without warning, or is that because I might not know him well enough? His face was red when I had stopped walking to see that beautiful necklace.. I sighed softly. That necklace had reminded me of my sister, who I still don't know where she is. I decided to walk around the area. "Rogue-sama! Doko ni iru??"

"Psst!" I heard Rogue-sama's voice...beneath me?

"Rogue-sama!" I gasped when I saw his shadow underneath me. I stepped out of the way and he came out of the shadows. "Where did you go? I was worried!" I scolded him. It felt weird to scold someone who was older than me, but he was a kid for now and I can't have him running away all the time.

"Gomen," he apologized, but there was a smile on his face. It was uncommon for him, but he looked...kinda cute smiling. "I just wanted to give you this though." He took something from his pocket and held it out to me. I gasped and put my hands over my mouth. It was the silver necklack I had been eyeing.

"R-Rogue-sama....how did you get this?" I whispered, shakily accepting the necklace.

"Rogue-kun is better you know," Rogue-sama shrugged and scratched the back of his neck. "And I kinda....stole it."

o_o "E-eh?"

All off a sudden, a high pitched alarm came from the jewelry store.

"EVERYONE REMAIN CALM! WE'VE JUST BEEN ROBBED OF OUR 10,000,000 JEWEL NECKLACE! IF YOU KNOW SOMEONE WHO HAS A NECKLACK WITH A FEATHER PENDANT ON IT, REPORT IT IMMEDIATELY!" an announcement boomed across the entire mall. Rogue-sa—, er, -kun tugged on my hand urgently.

"I think it'd be best if we panic and scream like the other people," he said. I looked around at the chaos we had caused and sweatdropped.

"O-okay.." I said. Rogue smiled and we both ran as far away as possible from the jewelry store.

I didn't think he stole stuff and it's not good to encourage stealing, but...I can't help but think that he stole...for me~♥
