Akaashi's POV

I closed my eyes dreading this day. It's another day that my recent manga volume has to be released to the public. Don't get me wrong, I love the fact that I'll earn more money and make more people happy with my work but geez, am I busy!

Throughout the week I barely managed to get any sleep and I didn't get any sleep today. The day after tomorrow, the game Kenma invited me to go is scheduled for me as well so there's no way I'm getting any proper sleep since I have to freaking babysit my nephew who have I mentioned pooped on the floor the last time I took care of him!

I honestly don't know what to do with my life at this point. Tomorrow, I still have to help my mom pick up grandpa from the hospital and I also have a meeting with Kenma about the whole merging of his game with my manga.

"Akaashi! Yo, it's your girl Kaori!" I heard a voice from the living room.

What gave me an idea to give her a spare key to my apartment?

I groaned in frustration knowing I had another person to babysit today.

The door to my bedroom slammed open and I was met with Kaori's face being stuffed with a hotdog.

I looked at her incredulously, inspecting the hotdog in her mouth. "What do you want?"

"Let's go bowling!" She suggested immediately going to my closet to probably take some clothes for me to change on.

"I can't. I have a release today and I'm babysitting Akio today." She turned around looking at the mountain of papers in front me. She was going to speak again when I interruptted her, "And! If you're suggesting tomorrow I have to pick up grandpa with mom and I also have a meeting with Kenma."

"Damn! When are you not busy?" She pointed her index finger at me pouting as she do so.

"The week after next week," I estimated after analyzing and checking my shedule.

"What the fudge!" Her face crumpled up like paper throwing the tissue she was using to hold the hotdog she just finished in the trashcan beside my table. "Who's going to hangout with me for the week then?!"

"I don't know! Try asking Konoha or the other girl you just met last three months ago, I think. What was her name again?" I put on a thinking face but couldn't really remember the girl's name so I just continued my work.

"Seriously? You saw her like a month ago!"

I turned my chair around and smiled in a way that said 'Do I look like I care?'

"Honestly, you're impossible! Her name's Yukie! Put that in your freaking mind, Akaashi!"

I just shrugged at her drinking my coffee and returning to my work. But that's when it hit me! Kaori! She probably knows who the stranger is. I keep forgetting things nowadays. I could've asked her this!

"Hey, Kaori?" I called her while still typing in my laptop then turned around to her.

"What?" She was currently scanning the books in my room when she answered me.

"Do you know this guy from the party with black and white hair? He's a volleyball player and his hair resembles an owl."

She looked up at me and smiled cheekily. "Why? You like him?"

My face started to turn red and I probably looked like a tomato. "What the! O-of course not! I-I don't even know his name!"

"Oh really? 'Cause you're blushing real hard, Akaashi. I'll tell you what, I do know his name but I won't tell you!"
