Y/ns pov

"Mom I'm leaving!" I said as I grabbed my roller skates and made sure my dagger was slipped in my shoe and headed out the door for the hunter exam not even a goodbye huh? Whatever

This is going to be so exciting I finally get to open a new chapter in my life! I headed for my garden before I actually left. My garden is my home we have Lillie's,Roses,Tomato's,Potato's,strawberries, and more I would have to give up reading a good book to my plants for this but it was all worth it! I knew they would be in good hands considering that my personal butler said he'd water and nourish them while I'm gone so after I said goodbye I left and made my way there where was the Hunter exam? No clue but it's not on this island that's for sure.

Killua's pov

I finally escaped that horrid mansion even if it meant stabbing my brother and mother I mean who wants their whole life planned for them y'know? And besides the hunter exam seems challenging I wanna try it I bet it'll be a breeze.

Y/ns pov

I got onto the boat but when I waved goodbye to everyone and turned my back around the men laughed at me since I was a child who "doesn't know any better" but I trained myself for this and will bring dis-honor (yes I typed dis-honor) to the l/ns (or names) family and after I get my license I will become a hunter that studies plants (just act like that's a thing okay 😭) after a bit I saw a green haired guy on the boat who looked about my age so I went up to him.

"Hello my names Y/n what's yours?" I said no harm making friends

"I'm Gon!" He said he sounded very and I mean VERY excited but whatever

"That's nice so you want to be a hunter?" I asked wondering

"I just want to be like my father he left me to be a hunter so I want to know what all the fuss was about!" Gon said that's sad not fun losing someone I should know my father died

"So what hunter was he if you don't mind be asking?"I asked trying not to make the subject that sad and serious

"I don't know" He said shrugging his shoulders I laughed

"You don't know? Then what hunter will you be?" I asked as the conversation got..brighter?

"Hmm don't know" He said

"We'll your going to have to think of it and choose wisely!" I said I tried to walk away until he asked me something

"What kind of hunter do you wanna be?" He said

"I-it's kind of embarrassing" I said stopping my tracks and fiddling with my fingers I would fiddle with my scissors but there in my backpack and it's just weird to take it off now

"Tell me I promise I won't laugh!" He said as I turned around to face him while he gave me a reassuring smile

"I want to be a hunter that studies plants" I said standing up straight

"Do you know about plants?" He asked curious

"Yeah I have a garden back home maybe I can show you it one day!"I said before he said
