Diluc's Phone of View

"Oh, hi dear! I am Diluc's mother. I'm so glad that I finally met you in person." Mom hugged (Y/n) as she hugged her back and she looked at me which I understood right away.

Few moments earlier...

"Are you sure she won't find out that I'm just pretending to be your girlfriend? I mean, you can just tell her the truth instead-"

I cut her off. "I can't do that, I already told her so many times that I'll one and this is the last year. This is like the deadline she gave me!" I said as I quickly faced my phone and turned on my video camera.

"Please, this is just one time and I'll buy you something or some food you love for helping me." I looked at my screen and she also turned on her camera. She looked like she's thinking deeply and sighed.

"Fine but this is just one time alright?" She said while raising her forefinger.

I nodded. "Thank you so much, and I'll fetch you in a bit. Send me your address, aight?"

"N-No! No, its fine. I can just ride the bus plus I'll be quick and you gotta buy me some food, right after this okay?" She said while getting some of her outfit from her closet.

"Alright, but hurry up okay?" We both said our goodbyes and ended the call.

I waited an hour for (Y/n) to come over here at the living room while my mom is at the balcony, on call with her workmates. I'm getting a little bit impatient because I thought she'll be here in 15 minutes but nope, its been an hour. Maybe I should tell mom that she can't come over because there's an emergency. So, I left the room and I was about to head towards the hallway until I heard the doorbell rings.

"Is that her, Diluc?!" Mom shouted from the balcony.

"U-Uh, yeah!" I quickly ran towards the door to open it and it revealed (Y/n), who was panting while her hands are on her knees. She stood up after a few seconds of catching her breath and looked at me.

"I am very VERY sorry that I am so late! I hope you forgive me and I brought some food!" She lifted up a paper bag with a known logo in it.

I couldn't say anything because of what I am seeing right now. She's wearing a casual dress and her hair was in a messy bun. Her face... I shook my head and took the paper bag as I gestured her to get inside.

"Come inside and it's totally fine. I'll get you some water."

Back to the present time...

We were now sitting on the couch. (Y/n) was sitting at my right and mom was sitting on the other couch which we're facing her.

"So, tell me how did you two meet each other?" Mom started.

Archons... I forgot to talk about this with (Y/n)! Come on, Diluc. Think something right away!

"Oh, Mrs. Ragnvindr. It was unexpected. We met each other at the Christmas Party last year. Diluc's friend, who was also my friend, introduced me to him. They said that we might like each other, plus we have same stuff that we like."

(Y/n) answered without stuttering. She looked like we've known each other for so long. Damn, she's doing great.

"Please dear, call me Mom. You're already welcome to the family! And I was also at the party but I remember I already left because I was still working but I have to stop by to see Diluc and..."

(Y/n) and mom kept talking to each other and I could only agree with whatever (Y/n) just said to her. I was panicking inside the whole time and kept hoping she won't find out anything suspicious but how did she know about the Christmas Party?

Finally, after hours of torture to pretend, mom is going back to her place. She already said goodbye to me after she gave (Y/n) a huge hug. She finally stepped on her car and her driver drove her away.

Third POV

(Y/n) looked up to Diluc. She can tell he was panicking the whole time and good thing she already made a good made-up story before she got to Diluc's place.

"So, Diluc... Did I do a good job?" (Y/n) started. Diluc looked at her and nodded, smiling but it wasn't visible. (Author: yeh like the smile in the game. I can't even see his smile from afar but still looked damn HAWT-)

"Mhm, I know you got surprised when I mentioned the Christmas Party."

"Oh yeah, about that. How did you know we had Christmas Party last year?" Diluc asked as they both started slowly walking back to his place.

"Paimon. Even though I was in a different nation, she can't help but to spill all of the stuff that happened on where she went. I can't even remember if she mentioned you before, she only told me about this dude. I think he has dark blue hair with an eye patch." She lifted her forefinger and placed it on her lip, thinking if she was correct.

"Oh... Kaeya?" Diluc said even though the name was bitter to his mouth.

"That might be him. Paimon told me he was so drunk that time and almost put her on a huge pot because he thought she was an emergency food or something." She continued.

"Oh, that... Did Paimon told you what happened next?" Diluc asked.

"Nope, she fell asleep while we were on call so..." (Y/n) shrugged.

"I'll tell you on video call later or tomorrow because it's already night time but before I send you back to your home, I'll buy you a dinner."

Oh hello, I know some of you guys were asking for an update for a long time so I'm very sorry! Here's the new chapter and I know it's short. The next chapter will be a chat part which is gonna be a small chapter again. Hopefully you like this chapter and forgive me for updating after a loooooong DAAAAAMM time.
