Analise woke alone in a slightly damp basement, but that was not what had startled her into reality. The sounds of torture had bounced through her ears as someone screamed in agony at the acts being inflicted on them. Resounding cheers and banging from a large crowd was soon answered whenever the crying would cease. It was frightening and left her fairly paralysed to the spot in horror of being next.

Having crept up the stairs leading out of the basement, she listened with bated breath with her ear inches from the door. After thirty seconds, she tried to the door and to her hopeful suspicion it opened without a trace of a lock. Inching the door open through fear of it recreating every horror movie, Analise peeked around the door to find several corridors leading in different directions.

The place looked destroyed and abandoned which was her first bad sign. Dirt and dents covered the wall with questionable liquids both wet and dry sliding down them. Horrified, she turns away from those details and quietly makes her way down a random hallway to hopefully get her bearings. Rubbish was scattered everywhere, including a child bike that lay on his side which made the whole being quiet thing a little harder for Analise to accomplish.

Eyeing the contents of a very dusty toolbox that sat innocently in the middle of the first open room, Analise quickly checks the hallway one last time before stepping inside. Scanning it's contents she was disappointed by the lack of big tools that she could swing at whoever had brought her here. Grabbing a screwdriver, she slipped it into the back pocket of her jeans.

Analise concentrated on scanning the walls for any signs that would direct her to an exit. Managing to make out half-worn out pictures of cars, she established that she was in some kind of old garage, be it a very large and abandoned one. Scanning the tables spanning the corners of the room Analise noted that this must have been a tool room. It's to her relief that a chunky metal spanner lay underneath one of the tables looking a bit rusty. In all honesty, she really hoped that an exit would come before the confrontation. She carefully wrapped a medium sized chain over her shoulders shortly before leaving the room. There was no certainty that who she'd been taken by was human because vampires were a thing now. Her stomach was cramped with fear.

Out of the room, a faded green exit sign lay at the top of the wall at the far end of the corridor. At least she hoped it was, it was rather dark with the lack of daylight or lights on to confirm if her hopes were true. Not far from turning corner was when she sensed something was wrong.  A female figure appeared, the dull light coming from outside causing the fangs in her mouth to gleam.

Analise swung the spanner towards the woman before she was even aware of the movement. The loud resounding crunch and the scent of burnt hair hit before the vampire hit the ground. The left side of her face was caved in and burned, the skin was almost melting on her face. Analise stared widely with horror at the sight, but noticed that she was healing and would soon be after her. With desperation, she swung the spanner down over and over again, checking over her shoulder for more potential threats. Analise was jolted to a stop when the spanner lodged itself into the female vampire's skull. The vampire's body abruptly explodes into blood and guts.

Without a moment to breathe, Analise began moving knowing that comprehending her actions would come later.  Loud cheering and whistling started up outside the building resulting in her heart trying to pound its way out of her chest. It almost felt like she was moments from a heart attack. Tears pooled in the young girl's eyes, the new fear thundering through her chest at the thought; Are all of those people vampires?

"Where is she!" A male voice thundered from outside. Analise quickly covered her mouth, her other hand pulling the spanner to her chest fearfully. There was no mistaking that they were looking for her, it would be stupid of her to think otherwise for the sake of her fear. "How could you lose a human girl?" The same voice shouted louder in disbelief.  Analise almost cried at the confirmation of her earlier thought.
