KENNEDY A. STEPHENS|

I was in the middle of getting ready as my phone rang. I faced my phone up to see it was Kentrell who was calling. I answered, putting it to my ear. "Hello," I greeted.

"Heyy, I was calling to see if you was still down." He said as I set my make up brush down.

"Well I'm in the middle of getting ready. I think that answers your question." I laughed while sitting down on my bed.

"Ite. Where you wan' go?" He asked.

"That's up to you." I reply while picking off a piece of lint from my shirt.

"We can get food somewhere private." Kentrell said as we talked on the phone.

"That sounds good. I'll send you my address." I added as he agreed before hanging up.

It seemed like he was set on not wanting someone to talk to but I was wrong.

I started doing my hair as he texted me he'd be here in forty minutes. I dried my hair and then looked through my closet.

"Something fancy but not too much." I mumbled to myself looking at the clothes I bought yesterday with Mela.

I ended up pulling out a black pair of leather jeans and a black long sleeve with black boots.

I didn't want to wear anything revealing or eye-catching.

I heard my phone ring making me pick it up to see a message;

'Outside.'

I grabbed my purse and sprayed a little perfume while leaving my dorm rubbing lotion onto my hands.

I looked at myself before putting my phone in my purse and walking towards the exit.

I stepped outside to see a white McLaren parked with someone standing onside of it.

As soon as his eyes landed on me he pulled the blunt for his lips, blowing the smoke out slowly.

"Heyy." I greeted quietly approaching his car.

"Wassuh." He replied lowly with his thick accent flowing.

"Weed?" I asked and he nodded before tossing it.

He was quiet and self reserved.

I know there was a lot of thoughts crossing his mind.

"You know who I am?" He asked, breaking the silence.

"As in what you do for a living?" I asked and he nodded.

"Well I actually just found out recently. I didn't know you were a rapper." I replied.
