| HOW LOVE WORKS |
OMNISCIENT POV
Kennedy sat with her sister in the kitchen as they watched Kentrell and everyone else outside smoking.
"You really like him huh?" Brooklyn said to her sister making a smile grow across Kennedy's face.
"I really do.." She smiled as she watched Kentrell blow smoke out.
Kentrell glanced over to Kennedy and a smile grew on both of their faces. He waved making her wave back before he looked away.
"Just be safe okay." Brooklyn smiled at her sister.
"I don't need anything happening to you." Brooklyn said reaching over to hold Kennedy's hand.
"You see the good in the most terrible people.." Brook said making Kennedy shake her head.
"Their just misunderstood." Kennedy defended.
"Don't risk your life for someone else's.. your soul is too precious to be lost." Brooklyn said and Kennedy nodded.
"He wouldn't let anything happen to me." Kennedy said and Brook stared at her.
"That's what everyone says." Brook spoke, reaching to tuck a strand of her curly hair behind her ear.
"I promise. He won't let anything happen to an innocent person.. but if he goes down he's make up for it." Kennedy said.
"He's really sweet.. I just wish everyone could see that." Kennedy said letting go of her hand.
She looked over at Kentrell talking to his friends, "He takes care of his friends and their families.. he donates to charities, he was willing to take therapy to help himself.. there's just so much.."
"He opens my door, he uses his manners, respects his elders, helps me, he checks up on everyone.." Kennedy continued.
"He communicates.. he's trying to be better." Kennedy said looking at her sister.
"I know if something was to happen.. god forbid.. I just know he won't let me get hurt." Kennedy assured her.
"They called him a killer and said he was dangerous... but I feel the safest with him." She said honestly as a small breeze blew her hair back from the opened windows.
