chapter 6: date or hangout?

"Kavin, let's go to the bar, I'm craving for chicks" MJ whined trying to pull his best friend, who was sitting on the couch while reading a book, Kavin pulled back his arm and glared at his long-haired friend

MJ smiled shyly, clasped his hands, and apologized quietly "Come with me," he continued to insist on his friend

"Don't want" he said straight-forwardly and went back to reading

MJ frowned and sat down next to his friend, "You're so kj"

Kavin looked back at him "kj ??" he asks, doesn't know what it meant

"Kill Joy!" He sighed, annoyed while covering his face in disbelief

He didn't know that his best friend was this stupid

Sigh

"How would I know?" the other rolled his eyes. sure, he doesn't know what it meant but that doesn't mean he's stupid, in fact, he was a top student when he was in elementary, he even became valedictorian twice. Also, Kavin didn't care much about the shortcut words or new 'words' that people keeps inventing.

For him, is what more important is that he can able to live and eat his whole life without learning those informal words but for sure, mj will definitely force him to

"You've been in love with Thyme for many years, when will you confess to him?" MJ's sudden topic, he didn't know why he blurted out but he didn't care as he was already enough of Kavin being secretly in love with his best friend for his whole life and didn't even bother to confess. 

You wouldn't know if you don't try, right?  He thinks

Kavin slapped his friend's mouth and glared at him "Shut up, mom might hear you!" he scolded in a high pitch, low voice

MJ rolled his eyes "You're hopeless, I don't get why I had to help you flirt with women if you can just confess your love to Thyme, easy as that" he whispered carefully, trying not to be loud, afraid that his best friend might slap his mouth again if he louden his voice

Kavin gave him an annoying look,  Mj wouldn't get his situation because he hadn't experienced confessing! (though Kavin hasn't either-) he shuts his book and aggressively leaned forward to the older (fyi MJ is 10 months older than Kavin in the og series)  "No way! You want me to tell him that I've been liking him since we were kids?" he tries to protest but MJ frowned and nodded but Kavin smacked his head "- no way Jose, what if he doesn't like people like me? It might create a bad feeling between us."

"And what if he likes you back?" he lifted his head and crunches his nose, trying to convince his lovesick best friend

"What do you mean?"

"just hypothetical."

"That's impossible, I'm pretty sure he's 100% straight." he tries to deny, not wanting to get his hopes high

"Who knows about the future? These days things can change, Look " he points at the TV where there were showing two men talking

"Why did you do it then?" the male lead asks on the television while looking at the other male lead
