Mealtime came, but Sam decided to change plans once he saw who was delivering the food.

The nerdy guy.

"Alrighty then. I got Big Belly Burgers and Cola for both of you." He said while carrying a drink tray with a take out bag. He also had a gun that looked like it could be used in laser tag.

"Don't you guys treat your hostages well." Dean scoffed.

"Seriously, Dean?" Sam scolded his older brother from the other cell. "Sorry about him. Thank you."

The guy looked taken aback by this comment.

"Yeah, sure." He opened the doors and handed them the greasy food.

Dean immediately dug in, unwrapping the burger that he felt he had been longing for his whole life. Sam on the other hand just put his food and beverage down on the floor.

"Not to your liking?" Nerdy guy asked jokingly.

"No, I just wanted to ask you something, Mr.?" Sam said.

"Um, Cisco. Cisco Ramon." Cisco said hesitantly.

"Cisco. There was a journal in our hotel room. It was our dad's and it meant a lot to me. Is there any chance I could get that back?"

"The old, leathery one? That's your dad's?" Cisco asked.

"Yeah. That's the one." Sam assured.

"No offense, but your dad was crazy. There's stuff in there that tells you how to kill ghosts and demons."

"What did you just say about my dad?" Dean asked angrily, putting down his burger.

"Look, who's to say that those things don't exist?" Sam said.

"Uh, science?" Cisco sarcastically said, ignoring Dean's death glare.

"Think about it. I'm guessing you've been doing your research and tracking where we've been, right?" Cisco nodded slowly. "Mostly everywhere we go, we're following some freak electrical storm, or murders where no one can explain what happened."

Cisco stood there, absorbing the information that lay before him. It was true. He first thought, wherever the Winchesters go, the crazy follows. He never thought that they follow the crazy.

He met eyes with Sam. "Let me get back to you on that." He went over and closed the door before heading to the Cortex.

Cisco sat at the desk that held the computer he usually worked at. He looked up one of the places that Sam and Dean had gone to. Sure enough, days before they arrived, there was electrical storms and missing person reports. Cisco looked up another town and got the same results.

Ok, so maybe demons are real, Cisco thought to himself as Caitlin walked in.

"Hey, Cisco. Whatcha doin'?" She asked.

"Do you believe in the supernatural?" Cisco asked bluntly.

The doctor was a bit taken aback by the question. "Mind clarifying?"

"Like demons and ghosts and ghouls and spirits?" Cisco listed.

"Um, well. I believe there's a Heaven and a Hell. I believe we have spirits and I believe that there may be spirits around us. Why?" Caitlin asked.

"Sam Winchester. He said that he believed in all of it. Even monsters. And his dad did too, apparently." Cisco stated, holding up John Winchesters book which Iris took. "He said that there was such a thing as them."

"And you're gonna believe what a serial killer told you?" She asked.

"Well, I mean, look at the facts behind this. There are so many odd reports of demons and ghosts and things no one can explain. Do you know that a kind of demonic omen is freak electric storms? Every time we catch the Winchesters driving in to a town where they 'cause a panic,' there are reports of electric storms days before they get there."

Dr. Snow paused, reading over the screen in front of her. She had to admit, it was a little convincing that these boys aren't the killers they're accused of being. But demons? Monsters?

She wanted her own answers.

"I'll be right back." She said, excusing herself.

She walked down to the Pipeline, the place they hold their prisoners.

When she opened the door, she saw Dean, who was sleeping, and Sam, who looked shocked to see her.

"Um, hi." He said awkwardly.

"Is it true? Are demons real?" Caitlin asked bluntly.

"If I say yes would you even believe me?"

"Your word has to count for something, right?"

Sam nodded to the woman. "Yes. Demons are real. And before you ask, so is Hell, and Heaven, and Angels."

Caitlin's jaw dropped slightly. She could tell he was telling the truth.

"Oh, my God." She breathed. Her head was spinning and she found it hard to balance herself.

"Are you okay, Miss?" Sam asked, genuinely worried for the girl.

She took a few deep breaths, which seemed to help a bit.

"Let's say you are telling the truth, then you know what's killing those people?"

After giving Dr. Snow a once-over, he answered. "A Rugaru. They're a type of monster."

"So monsters are real now too?" Caitlin asked, trying to find some way not to believe it.

"Yes." Sam replied.

Caitlin thought about her next move very carefully. "I'm gonna let you out because I believe you aren't a killer. And I believe that there are things in the world that can't be explained. So you're going to explain them to me and my team." She walked over to the computer and opened Sam and Dean's cell door.

This got Dean awake. "What's going on?" He asked his brother.

"She's letting us out to help. Don't do anything stupid." Sam warned. "What's your name?" He asked the girl.

"Dr. Caitlin Snow." She said.
