Can I trust you?

Dean had half the mind to bolt right out of there, but Sam gave him a look.

"Follow me." Caitlin instructed.

They made their way to the Cortex after Dean pointed and asked questions such as 'What's in there?' or 'What does that thing do?' Caitlin ignored him.

"What the hell, Cait?!" Cisco looked at the two prisoners.

"Relax, Cisco. You wanted answers, right? They're gonna give them to us." Caitlin answered.

She went over to a microphone and said, "Hey, guys. Get to the Cortex." She then got on her phone and started to text someone.

"This is probably a bad idea." Dean whispered to his brother.

"Trust me, Dean." Sam said.

A few people started to come in at once. The Detective, a woman who resembled him, and... Dr. Wells?

Without saying anything, Detective West grabbed his gun and pointed it at the boys.

"Hey, hey, hey!" Dean chuckled nervously.

"What are they doing out?!" The Detective demanded.

"I let them out. They're going to explain some stuff to us." Caitlin said. By this time, The Flash zoomed in.

"Yeah, so it may help by not blowing our heads off." Dean said.

Reluctantly, the Detective holstered his gun.

"About what, monsters?" The woman asked.

"Yeah. We're all wondering it. Just give them a chance." She directed the last line to Flash.

The team looked at the brothers expectantly.

"Uh, well, yes. Demons and monsters are real. Werewolves, vampires, wendigos. All of it." Sam explained.

"And how do you two know about it?" The Flash asked.

Sam looked at Dean. "Well, when we were young, a demon killed our mom. Our dad didn't stop obsessing over it and found out about monsters and hunters and all that."

"So, if there are demons, does that mean there's a Hell?" The woman asked.

"Yeah, actually. And a Heaven." Sam answered.

"We've been to both." Dean said in a boasting manner.

After a moment, the Detective spoke. "So what do you two, in your professional opinion, think is killing people?"

"A Rugaru. It feeds off of human flesh." Dean answered. "Usually the bodies look like someone just chomped down on them, but our best guess is this one doesn't want to waste."

"Ok, how do we stop it?" Asked the girl.

"Light the bitch on fire." Dean repeated what he said earlier.

"Wait, wait, wait. We can't just kill it." Flash argued.

"'Cause it's so innocent." Dean scoffed.

"It's still human though, right?"

"It was human. It gave that all up as soon as it had it's first taste of pig skin."

"We can help. We're not the bad guys here." Sam interrupted.

"Really? Because last I checked, both of you have killed, no, slaughtered innocents. So as far as I'm concerned, you're just as bad as that guy." Detective West spat.

Sam sighed. "Yes, we have killed. But never innocent people. We only kill monsters and demons that have killed first. And it's always a last resort. Plus, most of the stuff you saw on the news was shape shifters trashing our name."

"Alright, I'm sick of this. Flash, take 'em back to the Pipeline." Joe ordered.

Before they could blink, they were back in the padded cells.

"Aw, come on!" Dean kicked at the wall. "Just admit it. You need us. You don't even know who or what you're looking for." He said to The Flash.

"Yeah? And how do I know that I can trust you? For all I know, you could be lying and making this whole thing up to run and escape." Flash fired back.

"Well, we're not. So maybe suck up whatever it is you have against us and let us help before another vic ends up on the street!" Dean said in a scolding manner Sam recognized from when he was a kid.

Flash paused.

The intercom rang before the woman from the Cortex spoke. "Flash, we need you up here. Someone else was taken."

Flash sighed in defeat. "Let's be clear, I don't believe a word you say. But if there's even the slightest chance that any of this is real, then you guys are our best chance." He walked over to the computer and let them out.

Dean turned to Sam. "I think I'm getting whiplash from all this." He chuckled.

As they walked up to the Cortex, Sam said to the Flash, "You know, it would be a lot easier to trust you if we knew who you were."

"It would be a lot easier to trust you if you weren't on the FBI's Most Wanted list at one point." Flash spat.
