Ch3. (Almost) The Whole Gang Is Sick!

I got up from my spot on the bed and walked over to the bathroom. I reached into my chest and grabbed out a red glowing orb. The hole quickly healed itself back up as I let out a small hiss in pain.

"I know you've woken up." I said to the orb.

"You caught me whatever.. Anyways, I'm back! Did you miss me?" Red said.

"Yeah, sorta..a little...Fine. I missed ya a lot," I said begrudgingly, "Are the others awake?"

"No, the others are still evolving." Red responded.

"I'll be seeing you then, Red,"

"You too, White," 

I still felt all tired for some reason so I decided to get a cup of coffee before heading out. I made my way out of the house even though Nerupy protested. Even my walk to the bus stop made me feel exhausted and achy. I shivered through my hoodie. When I made it onto the bus I sunk into my seat. My whole body felt heavy and I felt too hot and too cold at the same time.

"You aren't looking to good White," Red chimed in,

"I am not weak! I am fine," I responded

"Whatever you say.."

I waved off Red's concerns. I was the last to get off the bus. Amara immediately ran up to me in front of the school.

"Oi nerd! Are you doing alright?" She questioned.

"I-I'm fine o-ok? I am fine" I mumbled.

"You don't look it but if you say so Owari," Amara said.

Amara ran off to go talk to Akiri and Dono. I stumbled into the school and shoved my stuff into my locker. While I was at my locker I heard a familiar voice.

"Hey, Foxy! Did ya miss me~" The voice said.

I turned around and saw Arachne standing there.

"You don't look too good, Foxy. Actually. Are you ok?" Arachne said.

"Wh-what do you care?" I questioned.

"Good point. Anyway I want a rematch so you better fight me even if you're sick!" Arachne exclaimed.

"I'll do that later vine spider,"

"What did you just call me!?"

I summoned a pair of skates and skated backwards. I didn't get why I instinctively summoned skates but I didn't care cause it got me out of the situation. I went to my class and sat in my seat. Akiri went up to me.

"Owari! You look terrible! You should go to the nurse and-" I cut her off

"I'm fine," I said.

"Ok... but tell us if you feel sick ok! I'm going to check in on Dono.. he isn't looking too hot," Akiri said as she walked away.

I winced as a jolt of pain shot through my skull. I laid my head on my desk and closed my eyes to try and make the headache go away. My whole body ached and I was trying to figure out why.

After my first class I had art with Akiri. Arachne was also in art so she decided to sit next to me.

"Hey foxy! Gosh you look worse than earlier," Arachne said, "I would hate to be looking so cu-bad. Yep mhm bad. You look heheh terrible!"

"Oi shut it! I won't let you disrespect Owari like that," Akiri said.

The bickering between the two girls made my head hurt. Thankfully we were only starting our unit on pottery so nothing much was happening. Red kept trying to get me to head to the nurse but I decided not to since I wasn't as weak as he thought I was. Art, gym, and math went by quickly other than Arachne appearing here and there. During our free period Arachne came to find me. She dragged me off to the training room for our rematch.
