I pulled away from the kiss smiling. Did i really just kiss her? i haven't even known her for that long. She's so cute though i just couldn't help myself. "Why did you do that again?" she asked me seemingly confused. "I'm sorry I wasn't trying to take advantage of your vulnerability or anything I just really like you and I think you are really cute and smart and funny and amazing and I really love hanging out with you and I really don't want you to go." I rambled frantically avoiding her gaze. She didn't say anything she just kind of, stared at me. What if I came on too strong? What if she doesn't feel the same way? What if I ruined the whole thing? My overthinking was interrupted by her, hugging me? "thank you for letting me stay here, and being honest with me, and thank you a lot for being my friend even though you haven't known me very long." she said against my chest still hugging me. i hugged her back "i don't know why but when i saw you i felt the need to be there for you and make sure you were gonna be okay, you just looked so sad and alone in life, i wanted to make sure you had someone with you having to tell me everything about your life that you maybe wouldn't want to tell me." she let go a little and looked up at me, "is that why you invited me to stay with you? because you felt i needed protection because you thought i didn't have anyone?" she sounded serious. "Allison that isn't at all what i meant, i didn't know you but i wanted to." she just stared at me, her eyes were beginning to gloss over, was she about to cry? all because i said i wanted to get to know her? i didn't say anything i just pulled her back in and held her tight. "Dani?" "yes ally?" "i um, i lied to you... my mom said i cant come home for a few more says, i just thought you didn't actually want me here, and i didn't want to be here becasuse i didn't want to burden you or your family." when i went to tell her she was always welcome here my parents and sister walked it. "Tommy, sweetie. we're home." i heard my mom say as they walked it. "in here mom." i said as my sister came into her room. "Hey, I'm Sydnie, thomas' sister, you must be allison." ally let go of me and shook sydnie's hand. "it's nice to meet you sydnie." "i must say you are much prettier than tommy described dear, hi i'm molly, tommy's mother, this is my husband, tim." "nice to meet you both." her cheeks turned a little pink and she started playing with her bracelets, was she nervous? i grabbed her hand hoping nobody saw, but of course, syd did. "are you two dating?" she mouthed from behind my mom. i jut shook my head and she made a sad face like she wanted us too.

after a few minutes of talking about their trip my parents went to bed and sydnie went to her room. it was just me and allison alone in the living room. "so since i'm staying should i just sleep on the couch?" "no, you can stay in my room with me, i already told you that you could stay in my room with me." she just nodded looking down, she was in jeans. i got up and went to get her something to sleep in. when i got back to the living room she was asleep on the couch. my mom will kill me if i leave her here, i picked her up bridal style and took her to my room, laying her in my bed. i went to my bathroom to change when i came out she waas sitting up, "you can sleep in here, i trust nobody wll think anything of it." she said, i just nodded and got into bed laying with her. a few second passed and she was cuddled up to me sleeping soundly. i held her tightly pulling her into me, and fell asleep as well.
