Lance hates cold weather. He hates being cold and he hates how the wind always dries out his skin. He huffs, a puff of white breath escaping his chapped lips. He rummages around in his backpack for his chapstick, but all he can find is lip gloss so he settles for that.

So, it's safe to say, he's not happy to be standing on the street corner at 6:03 am, waiting for the bus to round the corner.

About 5 minutes later, the rickety school bus squeaks to a stop in front of him. He steps on and adjusts his bag, careful not to smack any unsuspecting children in the face while making his way to the back. Almost all the kids seemed to be asleep, passed out against the windows and snoring on each other's shoulders.

Lance looked around in the dark, searching for an empty seat, nearly stumbling when the bus moved again.

The only seats that weren't completely full were in the very back.

On the right, a greasy-haired girl wearing cat ears and galaxy leggings was sat with her feet in the seat and her back against the window, playing some game on a Nintendo switch.

He shakes his head and looks to his left.

He was pleasantly surprised to see a handsome-looking guy with a fluffy wolf-cut. Handsome Guy is resting the back of his head against the window, red headphones over his ears. His legs were sticking out into the aisle, but judging by the length of them, he didn't have much of a choice.

Lance wishes he could say he didn't judge Cat Girl, but he does. He carefully taps the handsome guy on the shoulder, pointing to the seat silently.

Handsome Guy opens his eyes and squints at Lance through the darkness, almost glaring. He huffs and and stands to let Lance in.

Holy freaking cheese. This guy is huge. He had to duck to stand on the bus without hitting his head. Lance does his best not to ogle as he takes a seat.

and when he's seated he pulls his bookbag into his lap before placing his head against the window again.

Lance sits as close to the window as possible, trying his best to give Handsome guy enough room. Handsome Guy yawns and reaches up to run a hand through his messy, black hair.

Lance nearly moans at how good his deodorant and cologne smell, but he somehow manages to play it cool. He smells so expensive.

He can hear music playing softly in the red headphones.

Lance is almost caught staring when Handsome Guy sits up straight to look at his phone.

He hugs his bookbag closer to his chest, trying his best to subtly look at Handsome Guy's phone over his shoulder to see what music he's listening to.

My Chemical Romance? He quirks a brow at that.

He can hear quiet talking as kids start to wake up. They were parked in an Elementary school bus loop? Did he get on the wrong bus? Wait, if this bus is for elementary then why are Handsome Guy and Cat Girl riding?

He hesitates before tapping that beautifully sculpted shoulder again. Handsome Guy takes his headphones off, placing them around his neck.

"What?" He asking, glaring. Lances realizes his left eyebrow is pierced and that there's a prominent scar running all the way down his right cheek.

"I go to the highschool, but I was told to get on this bus," Lance say quietly with a weird laugh, feeling awkward.

"You're on the right bus," he answered bluntly. "We have to stop here to let all the elementary kids off, then you just get on another bus." Lance is about to ask another question, but he's cut off. "Just get on the same bus I do at seven-fifteen."
