I was left in charge of the servants while Sebastian and Ciel went into town to collect a walking stick that he had ordered. Madame Red had left her butler, Grell Sutcliff, with us to learn how to be a better butler, since he was incredibly incompetent.

Every time Grell would make a mistake, he would try to end his life in various ways. "Grell! Just stop it, okay? Everyone makes mistakes, that's how we learn." I tried to get him to calm down. "Trust me, it's not the end of the world." "Oh, thank you, Lady Phantomhive! Your kindness overwhelms me!" he was bowing to me to show respect, and he hit his face on the floor while doing so.

"Oh, do calm yourself!" I held out my hand to help him up. Grell took my hand as I pulled him up from the floor, "I have never known true kindness until I was graced by your presence, Lady Phantomhive!" the butler kissed my hand and then he kissed up my arm, it was getting weird so I gently pushed him away. "I appreciate the compliments, but my heart belongs to Sebastian." I politely rejected him.

Later, I assisted the servants in the hedge maze in the backyard of the mansion, and I was dressed in work clothes to enable me to do so. Providing assistance to the servants was enjoyable for me since I did not enjoy lounging around the mansion all day and I appreciated all that they did for me and Ciel, so this was my way of repaying them. Even Tanaka was outside with us, and we were trying to teach Grell how to trim the shrubbery. "Is it starting to make sense?" I asked Grell while I was trimming the side of the hedge with Finnian. It was a pleasant day, and the sun was shining bright. I was feeling content. "Yes, Lady Phantomhive." he replied focusing on trimming. "Just be careful not to hurt yourself," Finnian told him; he was the gardener of our estate after all.

I suppose I should let you know about how my family came into wealth, you see, my family owns a toy company called Funtom. It has been a thriving business for three years.

Grell was talking about how dignified the mansion was while we were out in the hedge. "It's only been around for about two years now," Bard told him. "Odd, but it looks so stately and dignified," Grell replied with awe. "Of course it does, that was the intention," Tanaka told him.  He gave him the backstory of how the mansion was supposed to be built identical from the original, and he recalled the deadly fire. "The entire estate was engulfed in flames. It was a great tragedy. The Earl and the Countess's parents perished in the fire." "How terrible, the poor boy and girl," Grell sighed. Soon, there would be a mishap in the hedge. Mey-Rin screamed when she saw what became of the garden. Grell had accidentally made the bushes into skulls, and once again, the servants and I had to stop him from dying.

Elizabeth Midford would pay a visit and the second she stepped through the door, she began redecorating the mansion into her own liking, frilly and pink. "Elizabeth, what on earth are you doing?" I made my way to put a stop to what she was doing. She smiled a big smile and rushed forward to hug me, "Clara! How nice to see you!" she had a lot of strength for a thirteen year old girl. "Likewise," I strained trying to breathe. "Now, why are you redecorating my mansion?" "It looked so dull and bleak, so I thought the cutest things would liven things up!" her green eyes shone with excitement. "I don't know if my brother would like that, you see he's not too fond of pink." I explained to her. "Oh, I'm sure he'll love it!" she grinned.

There was no stopping her once she started, she redressed the servants and myself. Elizabeth made me put on the frilliest pink dress I had laid eyes on. I had plenty of elegant pale pink gowns, but I was not too fond of frills and bright pink gowns. I would have died of embarrassment if Sebastian saw me in this abomination.

When Sebastian and Ciel came back, the servants rushed to him frantically explaining what was going on

When Sebastian and Ciel came back, the servants rushed to him frantically explaining what was going on. I hid in the pantry in the kitchen, because I was so embarrassed. "She's crazy!" Bardroy shouted with as much humiliation as the rest of us were feeling. "Where's Clara?" Ciel asked, looking around at the redecoration. "Oh, she's hiding in the pantry she is!" Mey-Rin exclaimed. Thanks, Mey-Rin.

Suddenly, the pantry door opened and Sebastian and Ciel were looking at me with the oddest expression that was making me more nervous. "Little dove, why on earth are you hiding in the pantry?" Sebastian asked kindly. "Because she made me wear this horrible dress, and I didn't want anyone to see me wearing it." I muttered staring at the kitchen floor. "Elizabeth is here, isn't she." Ciel said with a sigh. "Yes, she is." "CIEL!!!" Elizabeth had heard that my brother was there and practically tackled him in a hug.

Meanwhile, Sebastian held my hand as we walked into the main room to see what was happening. "My Clara, you look beautiful in anything you wear. You are my lovely little dove," he soothed me alluringly, and he was stroking my hand with his thumb. "Sebastian, you know how to make a woman feel better," I gave him a grateful kiss. He lovingly touched my face and then he softly pressed his lips to mine. "My sweet," he whispered.

Ciel was looking around the mansion in horror, "What have you done to my mansion?" "Don't you like it! From now on only the cutest things belong in Phantomhive Manor." she gushed. Grell, Finnian, Bardroy, Mey-Rin, Tanaka, and I were standing there with frustrated expressions on our faces, because we were dressed in our ridiculous outfits that made us look like lunatics. Sebastian put his arm around me to comfort me. The mansion now looked like the inside of a child's dollhouse, overwhelmingly pink and frilly.

"Just look at it all! Isn't the salon so cute now?!" Elizabeth gushed. "Ugh, my mansion, it's so pink." Ciel groaned. "And I have a present for you too!" Elizabeth told Sebastian. Before he could react, she put a pink bonnet on his head. The servants were trying to hold back laughter, along with myself. I loved Sebastian to pieces, but pink didn't suit him at all.

"How kind of you, going out of your way for a humble servant. Your kindness and generosity overwhelms me." Sebastian maintained a grateful expression, but I could tell he was irritated with Elizabeth's antics as well.

I recalled begging my parents to not arrange a marriage for me, because I wanted to find my on true love who I wanted to spend the rest of my life with. I begged and pleaded to not have an arranged marriage, and luckily they didn't force me to, I'm so grateful for that. I wanted to marry Sebastian.

Elizabeth wanted to have a ball that night because she redecorated the mansion and she wanted Ciel to dance with her, but there was one problem, he couldn't dance to save his life.
