Another Nightmare

"What a trying day," I slumped on our bed with an exhausted sigh. "I can't agree more," Sebastian replied, lying beside me. I propped myself up on my side and smiled at him, "I know this is completely random, but I'm glad I have you." He reached up with his hand and stroked my face. He had taken off the gloves he normally wore throughout the day, so I saw the Faustian mark on his left hand and his permanently black nails, the mark of a demon, "I'm most certainly glad I have you too, my sweet wife." He kissed my hand seductively.
I grinned and laid back down to cuddle with him. I lay against his chest, and his hands gently combed my hair.  I sighed again, "What did Keinz mean by unclean, unnecessary, and unwanted?" The words echoed by the creepy puppet master still play in my mind, "Unclean, unnecessary, and unwanted." Those were the words Keinz used to describe myself and Ciel.

Flashback to a few hours earlier...
"The Phantomhives have been destined for a painful death. The unclean, unnecessary, and unwanted must be snuffed out." The tiny puppet ran cackling madly out of the room and out of sight. "You will not come anywhere near us!" Clara Michaelis screamed angrily. The young woman was usually soft-spoken and sweet, but when it came to her family, she was a force to be reckoned with. She had dealt with the death of her parents while risking her life to protect her younger brother. Clara would do anything to protect her family. Not only was Ciel her family, but her husband Sebastian, the servants, and her allies were also her family. The puppet turned back around and grinned with menace and then hurried away. Something evil was lurking in the streets of London, and it was after the young Phantomhive siblings.
Back to the present...
After recalling the disturbing moment with Sebastian, he wrapped his arms around me and kissed my forehead. "You don't have anything to worry about, my Clara. These people are so evil that they don't see your purity and goodness. I see your fierce loyalty to your family and friends. The young master is lucky to have a sister like you," he kissed me softly, "And I'm the luckiest man in the world to have you as my wife." His lips against mine always made my heart grow warm and fuzzy. "I love you." "I love you too, my handsome and loving Sebastian." I fell asleep in his arms, feeling at peace. I had no nightmares about my parents' deaths for the first time in a while.

When I woke up the next morning, the sunbeams streamed through the window, casting a warm glow on our cozy bedroom. I stretched and yawned, realizing that it was a beautiful day. I couldn't help but smile as I remembered the loving embrace of the previous night. Thinking of that precious moment soothed my mind of its anxieties.
