Those tears that I forced back start rising to the surface again thinking about my brother, my parents.

Did he really blame me or did he just want someone to blame?

I barge into my room and sniffle softly, shutting the door locking it behind me. I turn back around to see Lexis worried eyes on me and that other guy staring at me with his eyes half open.

Lexi has him sat in a chair and she's kneeling in front of him trying to slowly peel off the wrap I used as a bandage.

Lexi slowly gets up keeping her eyes on me and hugs me, "You okay? I heard glass shatter and I was gonna come out but-"

"Uh-huh. Fine" I interrupt her, lightly pushing her off me and kneeling myself in front of the guy.

I feel her eyes bleeding into the back of my head, "We wanna help you okay? It's gonna be difficult to ask but I need you to stay as quiet as possible" I say after shaking his arm to keep him awake.

He hesitantly looks at me and then nods slowly. Lexi comes down next to me and she's holding one side of the wrap while I'm holding the other.

"Just slowly pull it on go. Miles, it's gonna hurt but just don't make any sound like she said" Lexi gives us instructions. We both nod.

"3..." she starts her countdown and I grip onto one of his sides. "2..." Miles catches me by surprise when he suddenly holds onto my shoulder with a firm grip. I look up at him and nod.

"1.. go" Lexi finally finishes and we start unwrapping it as slowly and carefully as possible. Miles let's out a few soft groans as he grips my shoulder tighter on each one.

When we finish, Lexi immediately gets up and gets a small towel and takes it to the bathroom. I hear the water turn on, "Does it still hurt too much?" I ask.

"Meh. I'm a man, I can take it" he tries to say boldly. I roll my eyes at him and I feel his hand leave my shoulder, running down my arm slowly.

When he reaches my hand, I let him hold it. "I'm sorry," I admit, looking up into his eyes. Green.

He gives me a confused look, "for stabbing you. You know, you were just there and it was totally an accident. I don't know what I would've done if you died tonight."

"So what. You're like... a murderer?" He adds catching me off guard. Shit, I forget he actually saw me kill someone before I almost killed him.

I try to think of a response but before I could, Lexis running back into the room handing me the damp mini towel.

"Dab this on his wound very very lightly. We have to clean it first so just keep doing that for like ten minutes. Do you have any antibiotic, like cream?" She asks, running around my room quickly.

"Uh, I don't think so. We can buy some tomorrow morning though" I say, mainly just not wanting anyone to leave this room in case of anything happening with my brother.

"Mmm..." she says thinking for a second, "Yeah I guess that's fine if he's made it this far. Just clean it extra extra good then. Get all the dirt and dry blood away and then cover it with something new. Do you have anything else we can wrap it in?"

I think she forgets I'm a murderer, not a doctor. "Lexi, I don't have these things lying around my house. Cant we just use another torn shirt?"

"Uh, sorry but I'm kind of stressed out right now. If you get caught for anything I'm connected to you now. Witnesses at parties. And now the life of this random guy you stabbed is in my hands and I'm trying to remember everything from my nursing classes so if you could excuse me if I'm not very calm!" She snaps at me and stops her pacing.
