I stormed out of my house, my hands shaking.

Not the time.

I tried to calm the shakiness and pulled my bike from my front yard. My brother wasn't home when I woke up so I knew it'd be one of those days where he wouldn't come home for a long time.

I tried to think about things that calm my mind. I pulled out my wired headphones from my pocket, which I always carry with me, and started blasting "Fine Line" by Harry Styles.

That song feels like my safe place. Every time I get an anxiety attack or a panic attack my first resort is that song.

Every time I hear it, I think back to when life wasn't so hard.

"Come on just listen to it!" I push my dads arm softly from the passenger seat. I connect my phone to the Bluetooth and start playing Harry Styles "Fine Line".

"6 minutes! Why is there a need for a song as long as that Elena?" He asks calling me by my middle name while looking at the time of the song and the road.

"Just listen, its good. And it's soft not one of those hard core rock songs you listen to or whatever" I giggle at myself.

2 minutes in and I catch him doing a little sway to the song. I smile at him and turn it up.

"Okay wait! It gets super good here" I say before that one part starts.

"We'll be a fine line, we'll be a fine line. We'll be alright" Harry sings as the music gets more cheerful.

I sing along to the song as the drums and trumpet start to come in the song, spicing it up more. He stops at a red light and starts catching onto the repeating lyrics.

I laugh at him as he occasionally messes them up.

When the song finally ends, he claps. "See! Don't underestimate Harry Styles." I say pointing at him while laughing loudly.

He looks over at me with raised eyebrows and a small smile, "don't underestimate Harry Styles."

I blink back to the present as the song switches to "Habits (Stay High)" by Tove Lo. Im a sucker for 2015 songs.

I realize that while my memory had been consuming all my thoughts, I'd made it a couple blocks away from my house on my bike with my hands no longer shaking and my breath steady.

I started driving throughout my entire neighborhood until I was at the exit of it. I just started to leave my neighborhood, turning on a main road when I heard police sirens.

I didn't think much of it because there's crime when there's crime, until I saw two cop cars. Then three. All heading towards my neighborhood.

My paranoia set in and I immediately remembered if they figured me out and pull up to my house, I literally have a boy with a fresh stab wound in my house. With Lexi. I can't drag her into this.

I turned my bike around as fast as humanly possible and started cutting through peoples yards trying to get to my house as quick as possible.

The sirens started getting closer, meaning they were in my neighborhood.

I dropped my bike on a side walk when my legs started giving out on pedaling and ran as fast as I could to my house.

I finally got to my driveway and have never been more relieved to see Lexis car still there. And no police... yet.

I bolted through the front door and ran straight to my room. I smacked the door open and saw Lexi and Miles, sitting on my bed just calmly talking.
