"(y/n)-san...! (y/n)-san...! I didn't know you had a cat!" Yuji exclaimed as he sprinted towards you.

Nobara and Megumi weren't too far behind, trailing behind the excited boy.
Both of them weren't exactly as cheery as Yuji, but they respectfully nodded to you.

"And where's Gojo-sensei?" questioned Megumi, a frown forming on his expression.

Megumi glanced around checking to see if the immature teacher was hiding somewhere. Plenty of bushes and foliage were available but Megumi's keen sight could not spot Gojo. He tilted his head in bewilderment but became irked at Yuji's carelessness.

"So fluffy!" Yuji cooed, snuggling his face into the cat's spongy fur.

The cat was nearly a mass of fur and its brilliant blue eyes contrasted against its snow white fur.

"Ooh, cat!"

Nobara's eyes glittered the second she spotted the fluffy creature as she joined Yuji to pet the cat. With the two of them entertained like children, you couldn't help but to chuckle softly.

"Megumi-kun, wouldn't you like to touch the cat as well?" you kindly offered.

Almost immediately, Megumi shook his head and declined.

"No thanks,"

He wasn't a fan of cats and it would be too childish to dawdle with a cat. He came here for a reason, and that reason wasn't to lollygag. Besides, he figured that his divine dog would not be delighted to see him around a feline.

"Anyways," he cleared his throat as he awkwardly stood. "Isn't Gojo-sensei supposed to be here?"

The first years all exchanged awaiting gazes to their teacher, who swallowed nervously. An agitated yet mischievous smile formed on your lips, making Megumi a bit uneasy.

He definitely wasn't on a mission, Megumi was sure of it, since it would have already been clarified. So it was most likely something bad.

"You're looking right at him."

"What?" Megumi frowned while his mouth opened in shock. Yuji and Nobara remained unfazed as they snickered to themselves.

"H-how?" Megumi managed to sputter out.

"A curse touched him and now's he's this adorable cat," you simply explained.

You wanted to have a better explanation, but to explain the entire incident would be much more troublesome. It was blunt and simple, so it saved time.

"So for now, classes will be cancelled until this-" you motioned to the cat on your lap, "-returns to normal."

"Sounds great to me!" Yuji quibbled, ignoring the fact that his mentor turned into a cat.

"Yeah! No classes!" Nobara cheered.

On the other hand, Megumi was still flabbergasted and disappointed to discover that classes wouldn't resume until Gojo dropped his cat form. If there was nothing to do here, there wouldn't be a point in staying. After all, he expected some training to be done.

"I'm leaving," he bluntly stated as he turned to walk away.

You waved goodbye, despite how Megumi didn't bother to glance behind him.

Meanwhile, Yuji and Nobara were still busy paying attention to the fur ball in your lap. You mindlessly stroked its ears while your mind drifted elsewhere. Somehow the simple movement brought ease and distracted you. It was a rare moment, for it was fairly silent except for the faint rumbling of cat Satoru.  It only subdued you more, while also causing your heart to melt.
