2 years later, Thomas is still living in the forest, he has built a shack from sticks and mud, and survives on the corpses of monsters, living in isolation has done negatively to his mentality, as he is stuck alone in this kill or be killed world. Because of his malnutrition Thomas has become lean, he now has started growing a small beard as well. He has lost all sense of time, and his judgment is clouded by animalistic instincts. He hears a cracking coming from the brush, he assumes that it is just another creature, another prey. He waits in the brush for the creature to emerge, but to his surprise it was no creature, they were another human. A girl of the same age, blonde hair, brown eyes. She looks exhausted and scared, as if she hasn't slept for days. Thomas is stunned by this fact that another human has found their way to this dangerous world like him. Although because of his hunger he considers eating her, he swiftly decides against cannibalization.
"Who's there??"
It appears that the girl has noticed Thomas' presence. Thomas emerges from the bush that he was hiding in, cautiously approaching her. The girl looks even more startled when she sees him.
"Who are you?"
Thomas cannot respond as he has forgotten how to speak. Thomas grunts in frustration with this fact. He doesn't know how to approach this situation, because for once in his life he isn't alone.
