Chapter 3 An incoming storm

That morning Ferret kept on asking Dusty and Fang about this so-called 'prediction' "So are we gonna do something good or bad?" "Ferret, me nor Dusty know that, It's up to us i guess. We must pick the good or bad we do or don't do." "Oh. Okay!" Ferret went to the scout corner and rested on her side, Thinking about the power she might have. "SCOUTS!" A white wolf howled at the entrance. All the scouts got up and walked through the cave to the entrance and Ferret walked by Dusty and Fang seeing them talk about something and she wondered what they were talking about. "The alpha has told me that we are going to find more rabbit holes than normal and danger nearby. That's why I didn't call a small group and I called all of you." "So group A is; Ferret, Hollow, River, Cloudy and Grape. Look for danger around the Honeysuckle vines." "Group B is; Fang, Dusty, Crystal, Flash and Omen. You guys look for hunting places." "Go!" The scouts grouped up and ran to their section. "Ok Ferret and Grape you guys go on the East side of the Honeysuckle vine border." "Ok Captain Hollow!" Grape teased. "Cloudy and River check the north side and I'll go North and South." "Ok Bye guys!" Ferret yelled as she leaped over a log and ahead of Grape to the East side of the Honeysuckle Border. "Hmm, Do you see anything?" "No Grape, but i'm scared what if we find a-" Some wind smacked Ferrets face and pushed Grape back a little. "I guess a storm is coming." "Oh, It felt like some wind." "You must be strong." "Hmm, Ye-" More wind hit Ferret's face and pushed grape backwards and made him struggle to stay on his paws, Rain dripped from the sky and through the trees and onto Ferret and Grapes face as the wind hit it their way. "We should get back to the-" Wind pushed Grape into a tree while he was talking and pushed some air out of him. "Whoa.." "Grape, are you ok?" Grape coughed and nodded. "Let's get back-" Some loose sticks fell and hit the back of Ferret's head as looked at Grape behind her. "HOW ARE YOU NOT FALLING?" More rain fell and soaked the ground and their pelts. "I DON'T KNOW BUT LET'S GET BACK TO THE CAVE!-" Soon it clicked to Ferret. Fish, Stone, Leaf! Ferret wondered how she could use her power or something but the storm got worse as she panicked. "That's it!" Ferret stood there as Grape ran back to the cave and she tried to relax. The wind calmed down but it was still raining and a little windy. "Phew." Ferret then walked to the Pink cave and shook her pelt off before she went inside to rest in the scout corner with Fang and Dusty. "Did you do it?" "Did you activate your power?" Dusty and fang whispered to Ferret. "Yes! Let's talk more in the dream forest.." "Ok" "Good night!" The three got comfy and went to sleep. In the dream forest Ferret crouched and stalked around looking for Fang or Dusty, Then she smelt Blood. "ACK!" Dusty! Ferret got up, Scared, Wind pushing her fur forwards as she saw Dusty get attacked by an all black wolf that looked big and strong. "DUSTY!" Ferret jumped toward the wolf and onto them, Knocking them down into a thorn bush. "Find Fang, Now!" Ferret yelled to Dusty as she fought the wolf in what felt like a tornado, Her fur being pushed forward as she bit into the wolf's neck, The wolf pushed her off onto the floor and scratched her hind leg. "OW!" Ferret yelped as Fang and Dusty leapt over a bush to where Ferret was fighting, Fang leaped onto the wolf and turned them into shreds. "T- Thank you Fang." "You're welcome. Let's go!" Fang leaped ahead as the wind calmed down and Dusty and Ferret followed. "Get in!" Dusty rushed them in. "So Ferret. Your power is?" "It's controlling storms? Or controlling some of the wind in the storm." "Well that wind when you showed up happened when you were scared so maybe how big you emotion is, is how heavy the wind is." "Makes sense, Dusty." "I'm tired from fighting.." "Same, But i have a scar on my hind leg. What should I do?" "I can heal it!" Dusty ran out and grabbed some moss. "Fang put this on Ferret's scar so the blood is gone, I'll get some cobweb to bandage it." "Ok, Dusty!' Fang grabbed the moss and put it on Ferret's wound. Then Dusty came back with some cobweb on a stick, Then she bandaged Ferret's hind leg. "Ok now lets rest." "Yay!" Ferret cheered and then walked to her pile of leaves and soft moss.

A few sunrises passed and now Dusty, Fang and Ferret are 16 sunrises. "Fang! Dusty!" Ferret ran out of the Teal cave and around the side to a flower path. "Ferret! You made it!" "See Fang, Ferret didn't forget us!" "The alpha said we are close to white cave!" Fang and Dusty's eyes lit up with happiness "WE ARE?!" Dusty ran around in circles happily and fang smiled and laughed with Ferret and Dusty. "Wait.. That means we can almost go back to the flower patch!" "Oh yeah!" The three laughed and played as if they were pups again. "It's moon fall!" "Let's watch it!" Ferret sat down being followed by Dusty and Fang. The sun setted and the moon came up, "So beautiful..." Ferret stared amazed at the bright moon as wind camly wiped her fur back. "We should stay out late more often.." "Yeah!" Fang agreed with dusty. "DUSTY, FERRET, FANG!!!" A voice yelled "Uh oh.." Ferret turned her head as more wind pushed her fur back but a little harder. "WHAT ARE YOU DOING OUT SO LATE?!" Lion ran up to them, Furious. "We wanted to see the moon.." "YOU CAN SEE IT WHEN WE MAKE IT TO SAFETY!!" "I-" "NO BUTS! FIRST FANG MURDERS CLOVER PACKS BETA NOW THIS?" Fang's ears went down as Lion mentioned the accident. More wind whipped their fur back as Ferret growled and narrowed her eyes. "LION, WHY CAN'T WE EVER HAVE FUN?! YOU'RE SUCH A- A- A FOX HEART!-" Ferret covered her muzzle with one paw as she realized what she'd done. "Ferret, Remember who you're talking to! Timber packs lead warrior!" Ferret flattened her ears as the wind pushed their fur harder. "But Lion.. She's correct and so are you." Dusty said as she turned around. "You are a fox heart, And you're the lead Warrior. Not the lead Scout." "I uhm-" "But! Why are you here? Why isn't Glimmer here? The lead scout?" "Uhm-" "Were you sneaking out and found us?" "UGH! Just get back to the pack.." Dusty smirked at Ferret and Fang. "Come on!" Dusty got up and pranced back to the cave while fang and ferret smiled and caught up to her and pranced with her.
