Chapter 2 The scar that never healed

"Fang, wake up, It's a meeting!" Fang woke up shaking their pelt off and yawning as they walked into the crowd of wolves. "I've called this meeting because we have been attacked and driven out of our caves three times now, I think we should move ahead of the other packs!" "Tomorrow we will leave so we won't make food piles for the next pack to take. Pack dismissed!" Dusty went to the cave entrance and found Fang. "Fang, are you ok?" "I'm a murderer. Why would I be, ok?" "I Dunno." Fang's gray head and shoulder hung low as he sat looking at a flower. "Look." Fang caught Dusty's attention "This one flower may not matter to me or you but it might to someone here, Just like a wolf may not matter to me or you but it does to others." "Oh, Is that why you feel guilty?" "I guess.." "Come on, let's go on an adventure! I'll go get Ferret." "Ok see you later dusty!" Fang watched as Dusty disappeared into the crowd of pelts. "Now what." "Fang!" A tan wolf came over to him with an angry look. "You killed clover packs Beta!" The male wolf whispered to them. "T-Their Beta?" "Yes, Why?!" "They attacked Ferret!" "That doesn't mean you must murder them!" "I- I didn't mean to." "Fang! I found Ferret! Oh hey Lion." "Hello Dusty, I was just talking to Fang!" "Oh ok!" Lion walked off and glared at Fang. "Where are we going?" "How about the Bumblebee Flower patch?" "Sounds good." The three went inside the cave and went out a tiny escape hole like they did in the Blue cave. "Wow, so many flowers!" "Guys we should bury our stones here! And after we make it to white cave when we're old we can come here at moonfall together!" "Sounds good Ferret, What do you think Fang?" "Sounds good." The three ran back to Red cave and got their stones and the bag they found front under the leaves and pine needles and then went to a clear part of the flower patch and buried them. "When we come back, All of us, We will open the bag together." Ferret made the promise. "What if one of us dies?" Fang asked Ferret. "We will have to open it with their ghost there, We might see their ghost." "Ok." "Now we all must swear to the moon pack that we won't unbury it without the other wolves here." Ferret stared at Fang and Dusty "We promise to the moon pack!" The three howled and headed to their cave to sleep and get ready for their long trip to the next cave.

"All scouts gather under the tall rock!!" All the scouts woke up at early sun high and headed under the tall rock, Yawning and almost falling back to sleep. "Find a path to Orange cave please! Or Pink cave! Group A is; Fang, Crystal and Hollow. Group B is; Dusty, Cloudy, River and Flash. Group C is; Grape, Ferret and Omen." "Scouts dismissed!" "Fang!" Crystal ran up to Fang "Long time no see!" "Yeah.." "What's wrong with you?" "Oh nothing, Let's find that path now." Fang leaped and sniffed around looking for a path or dangers they could avoid. "Crystal, Fang! I found a fox's scent!" "I found some type of path, It might lead to Orange cave!" Fang stayed silent and sniffed around. "I heard pink cave smells like lavender and orange cave smells like mint" Fang looked at Crystal and Hollow as they looked around. "Ok i'll look for a mint scent, Fang you can look for danger and Hollow please help me look for Mint and Lavender scents!" "Okay!" "Aye, Aye captain!" Hollow teased. Fang sniffed next to a path and around for Fox's, Badgers and lone wolves. "I smell mint!-" Hollow yelled as he bumped into Omen and their group. "Oh hey Omen, Grape and Ferret." "Hello Hollow!" Omen said as she rubbed her head. "I guess this path leads to Orange cave, Let's team up and find pink cave!" "Okay!" The six sniffed around, Fang and Grape looking for danger while Hollow, Crystal, Ferret and Omen looked for the trail to Pink cave. "We found it!" Ferret announced. "Ok and we only found a few fox scents." "Let's hurry back!" Omen said as she leaped back towards Red cave. "Hey Aspin! We found the uh- Path thingy." "Crystal, it's called the cave path. But thanks." "PACK WAKE UP WE'RE LEAVING TO PINK CAVE!!" Everyone got up stretching, scratching and yawning. Then the pup watchers went to grab the pups and the warriors helped the elders up and they all walked to the pink cave following the scouts. Soon they made it and the elders and pups went to their new corners and waited for the warriors and scouts to place new leaves and pine needles. "So, Fang, Are you still guilty about that whole wolf thing?" Ferret asked as they got into their corner without anyone else there. "Of course, And to make it worse Lion saw me, And it was clover packs Beta.." "Oh, Well maybe it was for the best?" "The best?!" "Yeah, Maybe that beta was bad, Or they were gonna get their assassins to spy on us." "Still! I murdered them! But I felt stronger than normal. It takes a lot of power to fight a beta as a scout, Let alone kill them." "You're right, How did you do it?" "It's like I got the strength of a Stone when I saw them attack you.." "hm this reminds me of something or sounds familiar.." "SCOUT'S! Bed time now!" "Welp, Night Fang." "Good night Ferret." They both fell asleep on leaves and pine needles.

"Stone, Fish, Leaf.." the woods whispered as Ferret walked in them, The sky blacked out by trees and prey hidden in the darkness. "Stone, Fish, Air? What could it mean-" "AGH!!" Something pounced on Ferret's back and pushed her down with a huge push, Ferret's face slammed to the ground and she turned her neck looking at the attacker. "F- Fang?" "You almost got us all caught, You Mouse brain.." "Us?" Dusty then leapt over a bush on infront of ferret and fang. "Stop playing like pups. The darkness is here, come on." "WHAT?!-" Fang covered Ferrets muzzle as he got off her back. "Keep it down. We'll explain it all when we're in a safe place." "Come on bee brains." Dusty and Fang walked ahead as Ferret got up onto her paws and shook dirt off of her and ran up to them and walked for what felt like ten sunrises to a little hole in the ground that led to a big room. "Ok so this is a dream and we're all here." Dusty said as she sat down on some leaves and rested. "What happens here will leave scars on us in the real world so be careful!" "Anyways, our stones gave us some type of power." "That's how Fang got strong and You swam against the rapid water?" "Yes, Yes but we're a part of some prediction that affects everyone we know and love." "Whoa, Why are we here?" "This is where we can talk about it without sneaking out into the woods.-" "And possible death!" Fang inturped and Dusty glared at him. "Heh, Sorry.." "Anyways we can sleep here for now, We won't be here when we go back to sleep though." "Ok dusty. Good night again!" "Night fang and ferret. "Good night dusty and Ferret!" The three fell asleep on soft leaves and moss.
