Chapter 4

A buzzing noise suddenly woke you up. You groaned and turned it off as you knew you had to go to work today. Not only were you dressing seeing Hayden, but you were now dreading seeing David. He use to be such a close friend a cool boss even. Now he was only business.
You got out of bed and threw on something comfortable. You decided to throw you hair in a pony tail and not do any makeup. You didn't care about how you looked anymore. As long as you showed up and did your job, there wasn't much David could do.
You arrived and went to your assigned seat which was unfortunately by David.
"Thanks for coming in today"
"Yeah no problem." I said with a bit of annoyance in my voice.
"Look I know you don't want to be here and you hate me. However, this is your job and I am your boss. Regardless of if we're friends or not this article has to get done on time." He explained.
"Yeah I know" you said taking out your laptop to take notes
Soon filming started and you got to see Hayden and Ewan. You really did miss Hayden no matter how much you tried to deny it. But how could you ever take someone back who cheated. There was no room for second chances right?
You began to take notes as they continued filming. When it was time for a break, you went out into the hallway. You found a corner and sat on the floor. You began to cry. You have cried so much lately but couldn't help it. You were stressed that you could get fired, stressed about Hayden, and stressed that you weren't being the best mom you could be to your daughter. You brought your head to your knees and silently cried. You hated being the center of attention. That was until you could hear someone's footsteps come right towards you and stop in front of you. You could hear that they bent down and put something beside you. You looked up to see Hayden.
"I know that when we were married anytime you needed to cheer up you always had a Coke." He said smiling
You smiled back
"Thanks"
"What's wrong?"
"A lot of things." You replied
"Tell me one then"
"I could loose my job if I work anymore. If that happens then I don't have a place to live or a way to support Autumn." Tears began rolling down your face more.
Hayden put his hand on your back
"Hey it's going to be okay. I will never let and Autumn become homeless. I know you hate me but you both could always live with me"

*back to set everyone!* 

"I gotta go but I'm always here okay?" Hayden said reassuring me
"Okay thank you"
Hayden returned to set and this only made you wonder even more whether or not you should let him in. Maybe a little?
