8 years later, Athos met again with Sabine and he realized how much he didn't love her. During those long years Athos realized something very important and it was confirmed when he met Sabine and she killed herself. One day, Constance was very excited an old family friend was coming. She wanted Dartagnan, porthos, aramais and Athos to meet the friend at the ball the king and queen were giving. The night of the ball, Constance was all aglow in a beautiful champagne colored ball gown and she watched the door as she stood With Dartagnan and the three musketeers. "When is your friend supposed to arrive again?" Porthos asked impatiently. "Patience is a virtue you should learn Porthos." Aramais rebuked. Athos looked miserable and Dartagnan was dying to dance with his beloved. Suddenly Constance cried "Tante!" Getting everyone's attention. She ran to a woman wearing a cloak and a peacock blue ball gown. Constance spoke rapidly in French to the woman and dragged her over to where the three musketeers and Dartagnan stood. Athos saw the lady first and his breath caught in his chest. It was Bianca! He felt his heart pounding so hard. It had been too long and she was even more beautiful than ever. She smiled at all of them. But she smiled even brighter for Athos.
