Broken hearts and new dreams (athos x Bianca)

Chapter 7

A year later,
Athos and Bianca were enjoying a nice picnic together in the spring. Bianca had made the lunch herself. They laying together on the blanket looking up at the sky, when suddenly Bianca felt like she was gonna be sick. She got up and ran behind some trees so her husband who was startled by her abrupt departure just as he was about to kiss her couldn't see her getting sick. He called to her and went to her side. "Are you alright sweetheart?" He asked as his bride released the last of the contents of her stomach on the ground. She shook as she cleaned herself up. "I don't know my love. I need to go home my love I'm so sorry darling!" She said not feeling very well suddenly. Athos understood, he took care of their picnic things and he scooped her up and carried her back to the cottage.he laid her down on the bed and went for the apothecary. The doctor came tended to Bianca, he said he had an idea of what it could be and made an appointment for Bianca to go to his office the next day. After the doctor left, Bianca and Athos went to bed. Around 4:00 in the morning, there was a knock on the door. Athos woke up and got out of bed. He opened the front door and found an orphan baby asleep in basket on the porch. He quickly scooped up the child brought it inside. He read the note. "This is Billy Bonney, he is only a month old. His mother and I can't take care of him and we don't want him going to the orphanage please protect and love him." The note was unsigned. Athos instantly went into father mode and got the baby situated before going back to bed. The following morning Bianca found the child. She loved it immediately and so did Athos. Bianca had to leave for her appointment and Athos took care of their new adopted baby.  He was an excellent father and couldn't wait for a blood child between him and Bianca. When Bianca got home, she was glowing. Athos smiled,"what is the news that brings that beautiful smile to your face." He asked sweetly. She kissed and placed his hand on her flat stomach. "I'm with your child my love.* She said lovingly. Athos looked her in love and gentleness. The love of his life was carrying his child within the protecting confines of her womb. Over the next few months Athos took care of Bianca and their adopted son. By 6 months Bianca had out grown her old gowns and had to wear maternity gowns. Their child began kicking and Athos fell deeper in love with his wife. They loved Little William very much and told him he was going to be a big brother soon. He  was very excited.
