CHAPTER 3

" Nag-usap na tayo tungkol dito hindi ba?" Frustrated na tanong ni Dad when I told him to find new bodyguard for me.

" Dad papayag naman ako na may bodyguard but not her! " I insisted.

He sighed and looked at me. " Give me one reason why I should replace her as your bodyguard. Just one, Madison.." He utter with seriousness.

" Bec–uhm she's rude and she's so mayabang!" I said and frown. " I can't handle her attitude, Dad!"

Instead na magalit ay natawa lang si Dad kaya mas lalo akong napasimangot. " Her attitude reflects your behavior, Madison. " I glance at my Dad in disbelief. Did he just indirectly say to me na masama ang ugali ko? Well kind off but she's more rude than me. How could she treat her boss like that? Huh! Nakakainis!

" But Dad—"

" Enough Madison. Avrielle is not an ordinary bodyguard that you could treat as your slave. If you're still doubting her capabilities better to see it for yourselves and you will understand why I choose her. Be kind to her and I know she will treat you the same way. " He utter to end the conversation. Napasimangot nalang akong tumayo at lumabas sa office niya. Sakto namang paglabas ko ay nasa labas siya. My bodyguard. She looked at me without any expression on her face.

" Tch!" I hissed and rolled my eyes on her at nilampasan siya. Nakakainis talaga ang pagmumukha niya. I know she's gorgeous—what? Mas maganda parin ako no!

Pumunta nalang ako sa kwarto ko at nakipag-usap sa mga kaibigan ko.

" Bakit ka na naman ba nakasimangot? " Tanong ni Deycie habang nasa video call kaming magkakaibigan.

" Lagi naman 'yang nakasimangot, wag kana magtaka" I rolled my eyes on Raila.

" Tungkol na naman siguro 'yan sa maganda niyang bodyguard. Ingat ka Madi, the more you hate the more you love. " Tine utter with a teasing tone.

" I'm straight idiot! If ever I'll bat for the other team, definitely it's not her." I said.

" At least you knew na pwede kang mabend. " She chuckles kaya natawa narin ang iba.

" It won't happen. Like never!" I hissed.

" Oh kalma ka lang. " Fyre said.

" Your bodyguard is hot. Willing akong lumuhod para sakanya."

" For god sake Raila. Ang bastos mo." Saway ni Fyre.

Raila laughed. " Luluhod lang naman, wala namang bastos don. Ang dumi kasi ng utak niyo. "

" Alam ko ang takbo ng utak kaya wag ako. " Frye muttered.

" Wow. Mind reader ka pala." Raila sarcastically said.

We ended the video call after a minutes dahil puro kalokohan lang naman ang sinasabi ni Raila. Bumaba na ako para kumain.

I saw my bodyguard at the pool side. I think she's talking to someone on her phone. After a second ay binaba na niya ang cellphone niya and talk to one of Dad's men, maybe giving instructions. Napalingon siya saakin kaya agad na umirap ako and made may way in the dining room. Kumain na sila Dad kanina pa kaya ako nalang ang mag-isa ang kumakain.

I heard footstep behind me but I didn't give attention at nagpatuloy nalang sa pagkain. Nakita ko ang bodyguard ko papalapit sa may ref at kumuha ng malamig na tubig. Ngayon ko lang napansin na nakasuot siya ng white sleeves emphasizing her tan skin. Mukha talaga siyang barbie. Hindi mahahalata na bodyguard ko siya.

" I hope you're not murdering me inside your head. " I was back from staring at her when I heard what she said.

" That's my plan. " I said and raised on eyebrow on her.
