CHAPTER 18

Nakasimangot lang ako habang nasa biyahe kami. Ewan ko kung saan kami pupunta. Ayoko sanang sumama but...I can't lose her.

I mean I can't lose her as my bodyguard. Yeah. That's what I mean.

" What's with the long face? " She ask while driving.

" Nothing."

I rolled my eyes on her dahil nakakairita naman talaga siya kahit kelan. I don't even know if my parents knew about this. Lagi naman silang busy kaya hindi na nakakabigla kung wala na silang pakealam saakin. If Avrielle was not on my side, baka napahamak na ako. That's why I can't just lose her.

" Avrielle.." I called her name making her turn her gaze at me for a couple of  moment at mabilis ding binalik sa road ang tingin.

" Why?" She questioned.

My tongue tied up at biglang umurong ang dila ko. I sighed and look away. " Wala. Kainis ka." I just mumble.

I heard her chuckles. " You're adorable." She softly utter making my cheeks flushed.

" Flatter."

" I can't believed I enjoy dealing with the beast. " She muttered, teasingly.

" I also can't believed that I feel safe with the Devil. "

We both gape as I said that. Parehong hindi namin inaasahan 'yon. Namumulang umiwas ako and subconsciously bit my point finger to prevent my frustrations to myself. Pinaypayan ko pa ang mukha ko dahil biglang uminit ang pakiramdam ko.

Gosh! This is frustrating!

We already stopped and park her car before she unclasp her seatbelt and averted her gaze at me. I hastily look away making her chuckles. Gosh! I really hate her! I flinch when she hold my hand making me look at her, confuse. She stared at me thoroughly before she beam a smile.

" You are my favorite mission, Beast,  and I'm already trapped in this mission. " She said, almost whispered but I heard her statement clearly.

My heart is pounding massively and I can't think properly. Natulala lang ako sakanya. " I think, the curse is successfully assaulted me. "

" What are you saying? Curse?" I ask.

She smiles before shaking her head. " Nothing. Sabi ko ang ganda mo." Then she step out from the car leaving me with a crimson red cheeks and heart palpitating.

I was back in my reverie when she knock at the window and sign me to jut out. I calm myself first before I step out from the passenger seat.

" Avi!!" I girl called her name and hastily run to Devil and hug her. I saw an attractive people around and the girl name Sevrianna which is Avrielle's cousin with a girl beside her while holding each other's hand.

Oh. They are couple?

Tumahimik nalang ako because I think Avrielle doesn't have plan of introducing me to them.

" Pwede ba namang hindi, tsaka nakumbinsi kong sumama." Avrielle said.

Nakumbinsi? Ang kapal talaga.

" You didn't persuade me, you blackmailed me! " Inis na singhal ko dito. Kairita talaga siya.

She smirk at me. I know her smirk is sexy but annoying at the same time.

I learned that pinsan niya pala ang mga ito. She even called me bata sa harap nila! She's fvcking annoying! Kanina ang sweet, ngayon gusto ko na siyang ilibing nang buhay. She introduced me to them and I don't know if I'm thankful or not. Ang pangit talaga ng ugali niya.
