Urban Avenger stood atop the abandoned Hall of the Arbiters. He scanned the city below him as the huge moonlight in the night sky accompanied him. The three moons of Zero glistened above and for some reason, it gave the residents of Metro City-One something that is precious more than anything else in the world, hope.

"Urban Avenger," A voice called over his comms.

Urban Avenger's face was covered in a black mask. His mask had a lens of green that allows him to see in the dark. It boasts an advanced night vision UV light features. His red jacket and hood made his appearance intimidating.

"Speaking." He says as he pressed the receive button over his ear piece.

"We got perps coming in your way."

"I'm on it." Urban says as he searched throughout the highway. "Any details about them?"

"Four teenagers driving a black minivan. They are armed with UZI Submachine guns. Intoxicated with alcohol, expect confrontations."

"Roger that." Urban replied as he spotted a black minivan, firing at everything in its way.

They left three civilians down. A grandmother and her granddaughter crossing a street and an innocent bystander. Urban jumped down from the ten feet hall.

As soon as he dove in head first in the free-fall, he pressed something on his vest. A jetpack suddenly appeared that was strapped in his back. He sped throughout the crowd who were blocking off his way.

As soon as he fought throughout the crowd, he finally reached the highway where the perps have taken to cause more rampaging. He deactivated his jetpack by pressing the same button and landed on his feet.

On his left, the perps are letting out more bullets. He knew that this would end in a bloody way and if he didn't stop these guys right now, more civilians are gonna die. He pulled out his service firearm and aimed at the incoming minivan.

"Oh, a Hero!!" One of the perps says in a mocking tone. "Another dead guy!!"

Urban Avenger let out a few shots and then activated his jetpack as he flew up. The minivan exploded without any ceremonies. The crowd cheered as he flew back to the HQ.

"Nice job, Urban." A familiar voice says.

"Master Legend." Urban says, acknowldeging him.

"Great show you put out there. I would say, that commendation should be awarded to you." Master Legend says.

Urban stared at the horizon ahead of him. The huge Heroes Headquarters is visible even in a great distance. It was a huge capsule-like structure that was lit up by hundreds of lights below it. The insignia of the HQ can be seen on the façade of the structure. It was an amphitheatre plated in gold. It symbolizes that justice never sleeps even in the darkest nights.

"Yeah, but Tothian deserves it." Urban Avenger says as he looked below him.

"I know but you know--"

As Master Legend speaks, he saw something odd below him. He saw a bald man wearing a black shirt and a cargo pants. It was Tothian. In front of him were three gangsters who seemed to be talking to him. He thought that he needs help so he flew down to their position. As soon as he dropped altitude, he saw Tothian carrying a somekind of a package, handing it to the gangsters as he looked from left to right to see if someone found them. He accepts the payment given to him.

"--the rookies are good. Maybe you should talk to them for a little while." Master Legend's voice ended the conversation.

"Hey Master Legend, I don't mean to be rude but I have to focus on my way down here." Urban says.

"Okay. See you later."

"You too."

The comms crackled as he landed down. The gangsters have walked away when he arrived. He was behind Tothian at that time.

"Toth." Urban called.

Tothian turned to him. His shirt has the letters T, O, T and H imprinted altogether. He was surprised to see Urban Avenger.

"Urban, I didn't know you are here." He grinned.

"What are you doing?!" Urban asked.

"Well, I am earning my money, don't you think?"

"Did you know what the hell did you just do?! You've just broke the Law Code of Act 56! Not only you--"

"Look rookie," Tothian began in an insulting way. "Keep that crap to yourself. I don't give a damn about your government's Law Codes anyway. I'm gonna give you a choice. I'll let you out of here without a fight as long as you keep your mouth shut about this. Or if you still wanna play hero, one of us is not going to walk out of here alive."

"If that is what you want!" Urban says as he drew his sidearm. "I'll give you what you want!"

"Okay." Tothian says in a lazy, yet, insulting manner.

As soon as Urban was about to squeeze the drigger, Tothian disappeared. He accidentally opened fire, hitting a trashcan.

Tothian reappeared behind him as he punched Urban in the face, forcing him to take a step back. He managed to aim his gun at Tothian but Tothian managed to snatched it from his hand.

"A gun, I see. So you're trying to cheat?" He asked as he disassembled the gun and threw the discarded parts on the ground.

Urban charged at him as he swung his fist at his target. Tothian leapt back as he threw the useless gun to Urban's face, stunning him.

"Now die!" Tothian screamed once more as he grabbed Urban's masked face and banged it on the ground.

Urban managed to reach for his taser. He tased Tothian on his neck, shocking him.

As soon as Tothian was stunned, he used both his feet to kick him off him. He stood up as he holstered his taser. He pulled out his stun baton from its holster which hung on his belt and began charging at Tothian.

Tothian whipped a tube from his pocket. He pressed a button in the tube and suddenly, the tube transformed to a bo staff.

He began throwing attacks at Urban as Urban parried and dodged it. As soon as he saw an opening, he launched his fist at Tothian's face, forcing him to take a step back.

Tothian let out an anguish scream as he charged back at Urban. He struck him with all his might three times, forcing Urban to lose his grip. As soon as he lose baton, Tothian struck him down endlessly.

Satsified, Tothian watched the motionless body off Urban. He knew he was still alive so he pulled out his sidearm and pressed it against Urban's forehead.

"You should have let me walk out of here." Tothian says as he pulled the safety off.

All of a sudden, a lightning bolt hit Tothian, making him flip to the other side. He groaned in pain but he fainted.

Urban's vision was getting blurry. Everything around him was slowing down. He found himself surrounded by four people.

"Nightmare, you think he's alive?" One of them says.

"I don't know. I'm a conduit not a doctor." A voice replied.

"That's it for our patrol." Another voice says. "Let's go back. Don't forget to drag that guy to the garage."

Patrol? This guys must be vigilantes! Urban thought. He tried his best to fight but his strength was drained out of him. Before he knew it, he was out of commission.
