Me and Sabito ran through the final selection forest. Sabito had already killed half the demons on here and we were heading to an area where a strong demon was. Out from the trees and into a clearing. There in front of us was the biggest demon in the entire forest. It's eyes met our fox masks. "How nice. Urokodaki Sakonji has brought me some new fox cubs." Sabito stepped in from of me protectively. "HOW DO YOU KNOW UROKODAKI-SENSEI!" Sabito screamed to the demon. The demon chuckled sinisterly. "Your dear sensei was the one that trapped me here all those years ago in his days of being Hashira. So I've sworn to eat every one of his students. You two will be numbers 11 and 12." "Never! Me and Yuu will defeat you!" The demon just giggled and started attacking us. Multiple arms shot our way. "Water breathing, first form! Water surface slash!" I cried and cut all the arms coming my way. Sabito grabbed me and pulled me behind the trees. His hands cupped around my face. He kissed me. It was a sweet and loving kiss, like one you would give if you were saying goodbye. Wait... "I'm sorry Yuu... I have to do this. Live on, for me." And with that he pushed me to the ground and ran to the demon. He leaped up to slash it's neck and... his sword broke. The demon smiled and shot out a hand. He crushed Sabito's head. The sun was starting to rise, so the demon let Sabito's now headless body fall to ground. Tears flooded my eyes. I just let them fall. I ran over to Sabito, cradling his body. I took his slightly bloody haori off of his body. I also took his mask. I just sat there, crying. I couldn't stop the tears. I couldn't remember much of that day but I swear on my life, I saw a very, very happy demon.
