◇ Location: Kiffel City // District 23 // Pale Office
◇ Time: The Next Day // Morning
Today, there was an invitation to the District 23, Pale Office, for a meeting with Mr.Chekhan. It was a day with nothing to do so I'm glad that there's something important on the way. Perhaps something to do the Noon Threat Unknownity within District 25? I'm pumped up ever since yesterday's midnight!
I haven't told Cerlia about the Scarlet Moon Cultist yet but if there's going to be more around District 22, then I should wait until we go back. I'm sure the Lunar Light office is currently being inactive due to the both of use traveling for a while. The mail sent to us might brought us away from office for a few days or more.
Besides, there's no one else to take care of the Fixer and delivery business since Cerlia is the only one that can administrate and lead the office. And yes, delivery is a part of it since a week ago, they had decided to connect to the DDA—Dawn Delivery Association—which focused on delivering parcels to places. And why is there such things?
Because this world is dangerous. Drones, technology, and a lot of convenient things exist, although there's no such thing as teleportation tech. Even if there were, it's highly expensive or used by high-ranking members. There're greedy and selfish people stealing packages and letters, so all parcels are brought by Fixers or people exclusive to delivering, Dawn Carrier.
The more important and well-funded parcel, the stronger Dawn Carrier would be provided to protect it until delivery.
Back to reality, we both arrived at the entrance of the Pale Office and its busy as usually. The same appearance and nothing different. After all, it's been a week or so since we're back here. Even the sunny weather remained the same.
◇ "If you did not check the calendar, it is currently Summer, faithful one. Expect plentiful of fiery aggressive people and fire theme Unknownities."
Wait? Is that true? But it seemed that—
◇ "No it is not true, faithful one. Beside the Unknownities. Not within this city dome but the outside. You won't find any frost theme unless it came from a cave or perhaps the underground. Although it is only a high probability. Anything can happen."
How dangerous is the outside? If I managed to get out there, I could hunt some outer wild Unknownity and gained the power enough to rule! Muahaha!—
"Stop daydreaming and come in here, Suki! Mr.Chekhan must be waiting for us so come on in." She waved at me, standing in the middle of the doorway and semi-blocking anyone from entering and exiting the office. Unless they want to squeeze on the side since it's a double door. I better hurry before our Lunar Light gets nasty dark complaint.
"Alright, jeez." I replied as I slowly walk but got a bit faster. "Just, there's also one thing I need to say to you. Get out of people's way, you daydreamer as well! Rahhh!"
I tackled her into the Pale Office, and everyone started to stare at our little event. She was surprised by my impulsive action, although what does it matter. I don't mind it and I'm that chaotic. I mean, this is not the first time I tackle anyone. Maybe a person, but I definitely did this to an Unknownity.
Don't worry, I'm careful before, just not now. Humans are unpredictable but personality remained constant. I got off her and smiled, glancing at everyone before I gave them a thumbs up.
"W-why you do that! That was inappropriate!" She closed her eyes and huddled on the floor embarrassed.
"Oh c'mon. You were blocking other people." I helped her off the floor and pat her head. "Tall but very insensitive."
