CHAPTER THIRTEEN:
WHO IS THAT?
└─────── °∘❉∘° ───────┘

YOU STEPPED OVER Nayeon's body, avoiding the blood. You made your way into the room she was hiding in before. Suddenly, Gwi-nam suddenly stopped and stared out the window with a dazed look. You look at him weirdly for a second. You snapped your fingers in front of his face and waved a hand in front of him to get his attention. He groaned, rolling his eyes as he shoved your hand away.

"You idiot, I was trying to listen."

"Well then, you should have said so. How hard is it to say, wait I hear something? Honestly." You muttered the last bit to yourself with a huff. Gwi-nam pretended not to hear you and walked towards the door.

"Where are you going?" You threw your arms in the air and rushed over to follow him. He pointed towards the roof with a small smile.

"I can hear Gyeong-su and Cheong-san up there." You looked at him wide-eyed. You moved closer and grabbed him by the shoulders, shaking him violently with a smile.

"Really?" He nodded enthusiastically.

Your smile widened and in your excitement, you pulled him out of the room. Hearing the groans of the zombies, you let go of him and scurried back into the room away from danger. Gwi-nam purses his lips as he stared blankly at the space you previously occupied. He turned to you with a glare as you sent him a sheepish smile. You cleared your throat and picked up a bag you saw in the corner earlier.

"We should get them some food. I'm sure Gyeong-su is hungry." You frowned at the thought of him not having the things he needs.

You stuffed the backpack with water, some bread and a few snacks for everyone. Your main priority was getting water and carbohydrates to fuel everyone. Gwi-nam stood in the corner and fondly rolled his eyes. A ghost of a smile on his face as he watches you pack supplies for your friends.

The two of you finally made it to the rooftop door, noticing a tarp along the stairs and a busted door. You shared a confused look before shrugging. Gwi-nam motioned for you to try and open the door. You deadpan, looking at him.

"It's a metal door."

"So?"

"Metal. Door."

"You do martial arts, you'll be fine!"

"You have the freaky god strength!" The two of you argued back and forth about who should open it. On the other side of the door, Gyeong-su furrowed his eyebrows at the sound of voices. He moved closer and pressed his ear against it in an attempt to decipher what it was. He suddenly gasped, turned to Wujin and hit his arm multiple times.

"Ow! What the fuck, Gyeong-su?" Wujin rubbed his arm with a scowl as he looked at the boy who suddenly had a smile on his face for the first time since you left. Wujin moved to the door and listened in for a few seconds. He gasped and turned to Gyeongsu with a smile.

"Oh shit!" The pair shared excited smiles before they went to alert the others. They wanted to tell them before opening the door recklessly. Who knew if they were actually hearing correctly.

Back to you and Gwi-nam. The two of you still stood by the door as you argued. You crossed your arms, glaring at him. You were not going to back down. He held your stare before he sighed in defeat. You dropped your glare and smiled triumphantly. Gwi-nam cracked his neck and knuckles before he exhaled deeply.
