Ranpo had woken up just about an hour ago. He had already gotten ready for the day in his usual attire. He started walking out of his apartment and headed towards the agency. He hadn't been thinking at all too hard about things, and life was well...
Good!
"Karl!! No!"
Ranpo had just been attacked by a raccoon..
Apparently this raccoon was someone's pet?
Who would keep a raccoon as a pet? Ranpo thought. " I-I'm so sorry! U-uhm.."
He stopped and stared at Ranpo for a few seconds in disbelief.
It's him! Oh god I wasn't supposed to meet with him like this.. Poe thought nervously.
"Hmm I don't know if I can accept your apology...
Maybe...
I could accept it if you did something for me?"
Ranpo said in a questionable tone. He thought teasing innocent people was funny on some occasions. He wasn't evil, just bored.
Poe replied after calming down a little but was obviously flustered.
" O-oh, well. What would you want me to do?"
" Well, I need you to take me somewhere to eat, you paying of course."
Poe while bending over to pick up his raccoon froze, nearly dying. You see Poe wasn't all that wealthy.......
in any way.
Unfortunately, Poe was quite poor. Knowing him and his undeniable admiration for Ranpo he accepted.
Ranpo told him what place to meet him at and at what time. After that they both split ways going in different directions.
Ranpo skips in delight, getting a free dinner later that night without even having to pay!
Poe on the other hand was confused, flustered, and now a million times more stressed about the situation he had just gotten himself in.
