pregnancy week: 37

,,Edward!", I heard someone scream. I let go of the file I was holding and looked at John. ,,Oh my god. I think it happens.", he said before he rushed out of the kitchen and upstairs to their bedroom.

,,What is wrong?", he asked as he stepped into the bedroom. ,,Her water broke. I thought she did a wee but no, her water broke!", Louis said and I had to smile a little at that message, but my smile soon enough faded the moment I realized what that meant.

Luna is surviving or going from us today.

,,Let me help you get her up.", I said and Louis nodded. I walked over to her and could see that her eyes were watery. ,,Hey princess, are you in pain?", I asked and she nodded while letting some tears slip. ,,Okay, we are getting you to the hospital in no time I promise.", I said and she just nodded.

,,Lou, grab Marce and the hospital bag. I am bringing her down and into the car.", I said and Louis nodded before he ran off. I looked at Luna one more time before I picked her up and carried her downstairs. Her legs were getting worse the last few weeks, he couldn't even hold herself up anymore so we had to carry her everywhere.

Downstairs, I slipped on some random shoes and walked out the door to our car. I sat her down in the passenger seat and buckled her up. I wanted to walk away to look after my brothers but I noticed a weak hand around my wrist. ,,You want me to stay?", I asked and he nodded. ,,Okay let me get into the driver's seat and I'm not leaving your side ever again.", I said and she gave me a small smile.

I walked around the car (I walked around from the front so that she can see me and didn't think I tricked her) and sat in the driver's seat. I closed my door and buckled myself up before I looked over to Luna and took her hand as a mother wave of pain hit her.

,,Fucking pricks what takes them so long?!", I asked, angry because Luna was in pain and I couldn't do something against it. Not long after my short outburst they both came running out of the house and into the car. ,,What took you so long?!", I asked and Marcel looked at me from the rear mirror ,,It wasn't everything packed yet, so we had to make sure that everything is packed.", he said and I started the car to drive to the hospital.

We were nearly there when I could see that Luna scrunched up her face because of the pain and that she got weaker. ,,Luna, princess, sunshine, love, my everything we are there in a minute just breathe.", I said, clearly overwhelmed myself because I used every nickname I could think of.

I didn't lie, a minute later I pulled up at the parking lot, turned down the car, and jumped out. Louis and Marcel climbed out as well and I made my way over to Luna to grab her bridal style, but Louis was faster ,,Please let me carry her if it's the last time.", he said and I nodded.

We all ran inside and to the reception. ,,Hello how can I help-", the friendly-looking woman got interrupted by an overwhelmed Marcel ,,She is in labor and she has cancer, we need Dr. Brian right now!", he nearly screamed at the lady. The lady was shocked for a second before she nodded and grabbed her phone. ,,Hello? Dr. Brian....no.....three man...yes triplets....yes...I don't know he screamed the information at me.....said they needed you right now....okay thank you.", the woman hung up and looked at us ,,She is there every second.".

We waited a short time until Dr. Brian came running to us. ,,How is she feeling?", she asked and I looked at her with sad eyes ,,She gets weaker and weaker". ,,Okay, let's get her into the birth room (A/N: I don't know what it's called but I call it birth room now :)).", she said and we all nodded.

We made our way over to the room and Dr. Brian sent us a sad smile ,,Only Edward can come in now. Please say your goodbyes for the worst scenario.", she said and went into the room. I could see tears in Marcel's eyes and quickly hugged him,,Everything is going to be fine, either way.", I said and he smiled at me with teary eyes.

Both, Marcel and Louis, said their goodbyes and Edward gave me Luna after he kissed her goodbye. Luna was confused because he didn't understand that the birth could be her life saver or her dead sign.

I carried her inside and was greeted by a Dr. Brian and three nurses. ,,We can't make a natural birth by her so we are giving her some medication that will kick in strong.", she said and I nodded, as I laid Luna down onto the hospital bed. ,,I am here princess. I am here.", I said and I grabbed myself a gymnastic ball to sit next to her.

,,We are starting now.", Dr. Brian said and gave Luna the medication. I grabbed Luna's hand and watched her face the whole time.

To say that I was scared was underrated. I would shit my pants if I could. The love of my life is laying in front of me and I didn't know if she was going to survive or not, that was the most horrible thing in this situation.

,,I am going to cut now.", Dr. Brian said, and as soon as Dr. Brian said that Luna's face changed completely. Her face seemed at peace as if she was fine with letting go now.

,,Luna are you okay?", I asked and looked at her. She didn't answer, which scared me a bit so I looked over to Dr. Brian, right at the moment where she held up the first baby. An ear-piercing scream filled the room and I smiled at the wonderful newborn baby.

That was my baby. The baby from me, my brothers, and Luna. We created life. We have to let them grow up now, we have to teach them how to behave and how to have fun in this shitty world. How to laugh, live, and love. I was ready to do anything for them.

I noticed someone whisper and looked back at Luna. Her face was pale, nearly white like the blankets in a bed. ,,Luna? Princess? What are you saying.", I asked and moved my ear to her mouth.

,,S-sorry. Love you.", is all I could hear. My head snapped up again and I looked at her. She tried to hold her eyes open so I quickly cupped her cheek, leaned my forehead against hers, and whispered, so only she could hear it ,,Fly high my precious angel and look down on us sometimes.".

,,The second baby is out now too!", Dr. Brian said, but I couldn't hear it screaming. The machines were the only thing that was beeping. I noticed Luna's mouth slightly and I could see her exhale the last time. Not even a second late the monitor is showing a straight line and one long beep tone can be heard. The next thing you could hear was the baby screaming.

Everything went blurry. I couldn't focus on something. I could hear nurses talking but I couldn't understand what there were saying. I couldn't see threw my tears and my head got dizzy so I leaned myself against the wall and closed my eyes.

We got twins.

We lost Luna.
