I walked out of the room, only to be met by Louis and Marcel. ,,Is she-", nobody dared to ask something so I just nodded. ,,She is looking at us from above now.", I said and hugged Marcel. I knew how hard it was for us all.

,,Are the kids okay?", Louis asked and I looked at him. He looked....fine? Like he just accepted it and moved on. ,,Yes they are okay, we can get them soon.", I said and he nodded. ,,She can't be dead, you lied.", Marcel said and looked at me with pure hope.

,,I didn't lie, I am truly sorry little brother. Our little angel is a real angel now.". He kept sobbing into my chest and I looked at Louis. It looked like it made click in his head because he broke down not even a second later.

I sat both, Marcel and Louis, in front of me on the floor and let them cry on my shoulder. While they were sobbing violently I cried a few silent tears. I had to be strong for them now and be there for them. I couldn't break down too.

,,Mr. Johnsons?", I heard Dr. Brian ask. I turned my head to the side so I could see her with her tears in her eyes. ,,You can come and see the babies now.", I nodded at that and mouthed an ,,in a minute", back. She just nodded and moved back inside the room.

,,Lou? Marce? C'mon let's go and see our babies.", I said and both nodded, still sobbing. We all moved inside the room and two nurses were walking toward us, only to give Marcel and Louis the two babies.

,,They are very sweet.", I said and both, Marcel and Louis, agreed in a heartbeat. ,,Do you have any names so far?", one nurse asked and we nodded. ,,The boy is going to be named Marcus and the girl is named-", Louis interrupted me ,,-she is going to be called Luna, like her precious mother.".

With that, I got tears in my eyes and looked at Louis who smiled at me. ,,It's the best memory and honor we could give her.", he said and I nodded. ,,You have to stay here for three days because the kids are a bit underfed. You are going to get a room of your own. At day the babies are with you, at night the babies are with the other babies in another room.", the nurse said and I nodded.

,,You have a few more hours until you have to give them back so enjoy your time.", she said and smiled tightly at her. Enjoy your time-fuck you! The love of my life died half an hour ago and she said to enjoy the time.

,,Can you show us our room maybe? You know for more privacy?", I asked and the nurse nodded before she showed us the room down the hall. ,,This is your room. There are only two beds but we can move one more bed inside if you guys insist.", she said but I shook my head ,,It's fine, but thank you.".

All I wanted right at that moment was some fucking privacy. Was it that hard leave us alone for three seconds? ,,Okay, I leave you alone now. If you need something just ring.", she said and left the room.

Silence.

That was all that could be heard.

,,So that's our life now?", Marcel asked and looked at me. His look told me more than words could. All the hope vanished from his eyes and was replaced with sadness. The sadness we all felt because of the loss.

,,Yeah-", Louis said and his voice broke ,,-I will miss her so much.", he looked down at our son and smiled warmly at him. ,,We all will miss her, Lou. Come here.", I said and opened my arms. he hesitated for a few seconds but came over to me and fell into my arms.

After a little time of Louis sobbing into my chest, I wiped away the tears and looked at our son who was sleeping peacefully. ,,But you know, I think our little Angel is safe now. Nothing can hurt her right now and she will protect us from bad things from now on. We have the task now to raise our children with all the laugh we have.", I said and had to collect myself again to didn't start crying.

,,Go to sleep you two, I will come to you later.", I said as I watched my two brothers and how their eyes would drop now and then. ,,But the babies.", Marcel said and I smiled. ,,I will watch them until the nurse comes to get them. You need the sleep to watch the kids tomorrow.". With that, they both moved to put the baby in their little beds and made themselves finish.

,,Are you sure you can watch them both?", Marcel asked and I looked at him ,,Of course, I can. Now go to sleep.", I said and suddenly Marcel hugged me tight ,,I love you, Eddie.", he said and nearly started to cry again. ,,I will love you too.", I said and smiled down at him.

,,Come here, Marce. I need someone to cuddle.", Lou said and winked at me. I knew that Louis hated cuddling but he tried to replace Luna because she was the first person Louis ever cuddled with (after our mother of course).

After they both fell asleep I finally had the feeling of letting it all out. I looked down at our children and studied their faces. You could already see that Marcus had her nose while Luna had our nose.

Luna.

The first tear started to fall down my face and I didn't stop it this time. I cried silently for myself in hope that nobody wakes up.

,,I will miss you so much, my angel. You don't deserve a death that young. I wish they took me instead of you because I am hopeless now.".
