,,Okay come on, we have planned a nice day for you guys.", I said as I woke up my two monsters. ,,No Papa, let us sleep some more.", Luna said and I smiled. She had the attitude of one of us, mostly Edward, while Marcus' attitude is definitely from Luna.

,,No my little monsters, no come on up with you two. We made some delicious breakfast.", I said and Luna just groaned while Marcus nearly jumped out of his bed ,,Breakfast?!". I had to chuckle and nodded ,,Yes, downstairs. Go down, I will come after you with your tired sister.", I said and he nodded quickly before nearly running out of the room.

I looked back over to Luna, who was still pouting in her bed. ,,Oh come here, I will carry you downstairs. I promise you that what we have planned is beautiful.", I promised her. Finally, she nodded and lifted her arms so I could lift her. These two are going to be the death of me.

As we made our way downstairs we could already hear Marcus laughing and giggling. As we went into the dining room we could see the reason why Marcus laughed that hard. In the kitchen stood Louis, covered with flour from head to toe. ,,Oh no, what happened here?", I asked as I sat Luna down, who was by the way now fully awake and laughing about Louis.

,,Dad wanted to open the flour pack to do a few more pancakes, but the pack exploded.", Marcus told me through his laughs. ,,Yes and this little monster just laughs at me.", Louis said and pouted. ,,Oh come on, don't be a child. Go change, I will finish these pancakes.", I said and Louis smiled gratefully at me before he made his way upstairs.

As I went to turn the pancakes I noticed the garden door opening and closing. I looked over to the door, only to see Edward. ,,Ah there you are. Is everything finished?", I asked and he just nodded before he walked over to Luna and Marcus.

,,Good morning my little princess.", Edward said and kissed the top of her head ,,Good morning daddy.", Luna answered, which let Edward smile a bit. ,,And good morning to you too, my little prince.", he said as he made his way over to Marcus to kiss him on top of his head as well. ,,Good morning, daddy.".

,,Where is Louis?", Edward asked me as he made his way over to me. ,,He was covered in flour. Made a good show for Marcus but he is changing now. Can you grab John and Nate?", I asked and he nodded before he walked further down the hallway.

Not even 10 minutes later we were all sitting at the big dining table with pancakes, marmalade, powdered sugar, and some sugar mixed with cinnamon. ,,Well, dig in guys.", I said, and not even a second later everybody dug into the pancakes and topics.

,,What are you guys doing today?", Edward asked John and Nate after a few minutes of silence. ,,Oh er-we are going to my parent's. It's the birthday of my sister and we decided to visit her.", John said and Nate nodded in agreement. ,,And you?".

Before one of us could answer Luna started to talk ,,We don't know it yet. Papa, dad, and daddy made a surprise for us so we had to stand up this early.", she said a little sassily and I just shook my head. I never thought that she was going to be the sassy one.

,,Firstly it's already 10 a.m. so nobody had to stand up early, and secondly, you will both love the surprise.", Edward said and pointed his fork at Luna who just continued to eat.

,,Let's go out and get your surprise.", Louis said and picked Luna up, who let out a surprised squeal. ,,Papa can you pick me up?", I watched Louis and Luna laugh together for a short time until I noticed someone tugging at my shirt. I looked down, to see Marcus tugging on my shirt. ,,What is it?", I asked with a fond smile on my lips. ,,Papa, can you carry me?", he asked and I acted like I had to think about it.

,,Well, maybe if you say the magical word that starts with p?", I said and looked down at him. ,,Please, Papa.", he said and I smiled wide at him before I picked him up and carried him to the big cherry tree.

Our beautiful cherry tree, where we always dreamed of sitting under it as a big family. ,,There you finally are.", I heard Edward say and just shook my head. ,,Daddy seems to miss us, because he couldn't wait to see us again.", I said to Marcus as Edward made his way over to us. ,,No you idiot, I just missed my little prince here.", he said before he picked Marcus from my hold and set him onto his hip.

,,Please don't be mean to Papa, Daddy.", Marcus said and frowned cutely at Edward. I had to hold back a laugh as I made my way over to the picnic blanket and sat myself down.

,,What are we doing here?", Luna asked as she sat herself down in Louis's lap. Louis's lips formed into a smile and he looked over to me as to say 'look, she sat down by me!'. I just nodded at him with a smile on my lip before I answered Luna ,,Well it's a beautiful summer day and we thought we could spend the day outside, we can make flower crowns and we can play in the lake or just sit here.".

Edward came over to us and sat himself down before he moved Marcus in his lap. ,,Okay, let's start with the flower crowns.", Edward said and I grabbed the basket full of different flowers. Thanks to Maria, who planted a lot of new flowers.

,,Can I make a flower crown for Mama?", Luna asked and I looked fondly at her. Ever since the both of them were old enough to understand everything that happened to their mother we had the tradition that one of them could make her a flower crown for when we visit her.

,,I don't see a problem in that, honey. Marcus did the flower crown the last time so you can do it this time.", Louis said and looked over to Marcus. ,,Of course, I don't have a problem with that.", he said and we smiled proudly at him.

Even if Luna's way sassier than Marcus, they are both like one soul in two bodies. You can't separate them for a few minutes without one of them asking what the other is doing.

Louis and Edward started to make flower crowns with them and I leaned myself a bit against the tree. I looked over to Edward, who laughed about something Marcus said. I am so happy that he got over it. After he opened up that day he showed us the letter and we promised each other to be always there for one another.

Louis and I learned to deal with it a while ago and it felt good to be able to accept it. It's 5 years in the past now, but it still hurts a bit to think about that day Edward came out of her room with no happiness inside his eyes.

Luna and Marcus dealt with it pretty well. We once picked them up from their nanny after an intense meeting and they asked us where their mother was because everybody has a mother. We all knew right then that it was time to tell them the story. They see their mother as a hero because she gave her life to save the life of both of them, so they always look up to her.

As we promised Luna we raised them to be clever for their age and to always be respectful. We traveled with them to a lot of countries and it was a lot of fun. The two always wanted to take pictures and show them to their Mama when they bring a new flower crown to her grave.

I couldn't imagine it better. Even if Luna isn't with us anymore, we moved on pretty well and when the three of us are missing her we are just visiting the cherry tree alone, without the kids, and we drink a bottle of wine and just talk about some memories with her.

We all agreed that we can never love a woman as we loved her, so we never tried to find another woman. We learned to raise Luna and Marcus without a woman and we think that a woman can never accept us and our mafia more and fit better inside than Luna.

We will always love her and she will be always in our hearts.
