"Unnie?" A little girl, more or less aged seven years old, called her sister.

"Yes, Jinnie?" Her sister, about eleven years old, kneeled in front of her sister to level their height because she's already a little taller than most of her age.

"Why can't Jinnie go out and play with other kids?" The little girl with curious eyes looked at her sister intently, waiting for her question to be answered.

"Because it's dangerous outside. Jinnie could get hurt." Her sister's eyes showed sadness that she just couldn't comprehend.

"But unnie and appa goes out every day and unnie and appa don't get booboos when they get home." The little girl pouted. "And I really want to see the blue sky, Jeongnie."

Shin Jeongyeon, her big sister, pulled her in a hug.

"The sun, my sweet little sister." Her sister caressed the back of her head. "It's Mr. Sun who can hurt our Jinnie."

The only times she could ever go out are during the night when she's only sensitive to some light bulbs but she knows what to avoid and what is safe. Plus she always wore long pants and sleeves plus a cap to protect her even further.

Her only companion since she was young was music and she taught herself to dance with a little help from her sister since her sister likes to sing more than dance. She danced her boredom away whenever her family is not home. She does have a companion though.

Her two cats. A Siamese named Byullie and a Scottish fold named Dallie. Byullie was a gift to her by her father on her graduation day for completing Primary School(she's homeschooled) while Dallie was gifted to her by her sister on her 14th birthday so she's not really lonely. But well, they're cats so they don't usually play with her all the time.

Her tutor comes by every weekday though for her lessons but Mrs. Hwang is a little too uptight to have silly conversations with.

Sheesh

She's already seventeen but she's still friendless. Mostly the reason why is because they think she's a vampire or something. How ridiculous, but that silly rumor went on for years until now. She rarely goes out so, for almost two decades, her world only revolves inside the walls that serve as her protection.

But when her sister moved out to stay in a place closer to her school while her father usually comes home late as he is a busy doctor who manages his own hospital in Seoul, an idea came after her that might lead her to her doom. She's going out. She's really going out without permission from her sister or father.

Ryujin knows this is going to be a stupid idea and that she might get killed so she prepared a letter just in case.

Dear Appa and Jeongnie,

I am sorry I left home. I just got so curious about what the outside world is and I want to witness it before my eyes.

I also want to try some corndogs.

I will be home by nine since I know you go home at eleven. If I'm not home by then, then maybe I am in deep trouble.

Save me, appa. Help me, Jeongie.

Love, Ryujin.

6:00 PM

She looked up at their digital clock and saw it was only six pm.

Ryujin already prepared everything she needs: her phone that only has three contacts in them (her sister, father, and a recently saved emergency number which is 112), a taser and a pepper spray, and enough money for her mini adventure to the new world.
