UIWMSB 24: Suitor

Braille's Pov

My head hurts when I wake up. Then I don't remember what happened last night. I also wondered if I was in the room. The last time I remember, Brent and I were drinking together.

"Did he bring me here?" I asked in surprise but that was weak.

I got up to have breakfast. Then Felis was still asleep when I passed by her bed. She looks tired. Where did she come from last night?

Good thing Brent's resort serves breakfast, that's why I called, my head still hurts. I feel like I need coffee.

"Two black coffees and two pancakes too. Then, maybe I'll call later if my friend wants to add. She's still asleep."

"Ok , ma'am. Just wait for 15 minutes."

15 minutes is a bit long but it's okay. So I went to the bathroom first. Upon entering, I immediately took off my clothes. I think maybe showering will get rid of my hangover. I also soaked in the bath tub first and then closed my eyes.

While my eyes were closed, I remembered what Brent and I were talking about last night before I got completely drunk.

"You don't like Dixie, right?"

"Yeah."

"Did you know he has a crush on your brother? Then it's also obvious that Drake likes Dixie. They are childhood best friends so it is impossible for them not to like each other."

It seems that my head hurts more. That's why I opened my eyes and went up. I put on my clothes and combed my hair when I heard a knock.

"I thought it was 15 minutes?"

So I immediately opened the door and it turned out that it was not the person who's serving but Drake.

"Good morning," he said smiling.

I just looked at him. I don't know if I will say good morning too, maybe because Brent has already told him.

"Ma'am, here's your order!" the man in uniform grabbed my attention.

I just opened the door and it entered my order and immediately left.

"Do you drink coffee?" I suddenly asked.

"Aren't you my secretary?"

'yeah,  right!'

"Heh, I forgot sorry."

He laughed.

I was amazed to his face. He's handsome when his laughing. His face become red. Maybe if he is a girl, he's more pretty than me. That's why I am more in love with you.

"Morning!" Felis greeted us with a smile.

I turned around, "hmm... Where did you and Joshua go last night?"

"You're so noisy, stupid!" she said.

I laughed.

"Can we have lunch together later?" Drake suddenly asked.

"I'm fine with that!" the witch's smile was very wide.

I couldn't do anything but agree.

Lunchtime...

Brent arranged a place for us to have lunch together. Then the set up of our seats is like this: Felis and Joshua next to each other. Frank, Dexie, brother Drake, me and Brent are next to each other. Then Klara was next to Brent.

Our lunch is okay. There's nothing wrong with the case. I wanted to stone Felis and Joshua a while ago because they are so sweet.

"Mom and Dad said, eat vegetables!" nabaling naman ang tingin ko kay kuya.

"Huh, no way!"

"Oh, you don't eat vegetables Braille?" Dixie asked confused.

"Ah, uhm... the taste of vegetables makes me sick."

"You can try to eat slowly. You'll get used to it," she smiled.

"Ah, uhm.. okay."

It's like I'm a child here and then my mother is Dixie forcing me to eat and then my father is my brother?! My gaaaaaad! I don't want what's on my mind. I'm just annoyed.

"Let's party later," Brent invited.

I look Brent then agreed.

All day we just bonded. Even though I'm still annoyed with Dixie. I just don't pay attention. Drake is always by my side that's why I don't pay much attention to Dixie.

Maybe, Dixie really likes my brother because even though he was avoiding, she still follows him. Sometimes I really regret why I fell in love. It hurts especially if you see my brother's attention turning to someone else even though he met her earlier than me.

I also noticed that Brent was always close to me, especially when Kuya suddenly disappeared from my side. Well, Brent is fine, good company. He is the one you can consider as a friend who will not neglected you.

"Thank you for bringing me last night," I said with a smile.

"Huh? What, I-I wasn't the one who bring you last night."

"Not you? Who?"

"Your brother."

"Ah, he is?" I scratched my head. "I drank too much last night. Sorry about that."

"It's fine. You look like a broken-hearted last night," he said.

"Because tequila is delicious."

"It's delicious but it hurts the head!" he laughed.

"Is it really like that? There is pleasure and there is pain?" I said, accompanied by laughter.

Then he suddenly became serious.

"Hey, are you okay?"

"I just remembered something."

I looked in another direction. I saw my brother and Dixie in that direction. Happy laughing. They are very painful to the eyes.

"Have you ever been in love?"

"Yes."

"Are you jealous too?"

"Of course. If you love someone you will be really jealous."

"Maybe so. But I already know that!"

I saw from the corner of my eyes that he turned to me, "Can you go out with me?"

I turned around, "Huh? What? Are you okay? Did you break your head last night?"

"No, Braille. I really like you."

"You're so fast," I stood up. "I'm just g-gonna pee!"

I immediately left him.

I rubbed my forehead while walking to the restroom.
