Braille's Pov

When my brother and I entered the company building, they still greeted me the same way. Bending down as we passed to the elevator. But even when they are bent down, I can hear their whispers. I tried not to listen but couldn't help it.

"I can't imagine they would do that!"

"He is ruining her brother's image!"

I just closed my eyes because I really didn't like what I was hearing.

"Don't pay attention to them," my brother said seriously. "If you don't want to lose your job, stop reading fake news!" after that, he walked quickly and I immediately followed.

When we entered the elevator, I was silent until we reached the last floor. As usual, I am still doing my jobs as P.A and his secretary.

I was also present at his meeting with the board members of the company. I was just on the side near his seat.

"Mr. Laurence, you know how important the image of the company is, so I hope you will be aware of your nonsense work!" Mr. Hencewick said angrily.

"I don't need to explain the nonsense you are saying," my brother answered formally.

"Mr. Hencewick is right. That's why I hope you protect the image of the company. Your father is gone so you should focus on the company," Mr. Denville replied.

"If you have a doubt because of that fucking fake news, you better leave now!" Kuya Drake said loudly.

That surprised everyone there, even me. I don't want my brother to be hurt because of me, that's why I called him in a low voice. I know he got what I meant.

"That's all for today!"

He abandoned everything and held my hand. I stood up. We went out of that room together.

I didn't speak anymore. I just follow him. When we went to the front of his office, he stopped. He let go of my hand. But I hugged him.

"Sorry."

I just returned the hug without saying anything.

That same day we were both silent. I don't know what his plan is. He just ordered our food and we ate together.

Time passes quickly. My brother called Joshua to pick me up. Because he wants to protect me from people who think bad of us no matter how many times I force myself. He said that he will be left in the office for the time being. So Joshua and I are now together in the car.

"Braille, there is nothing wrong with your relationship. You are not blood related no matter how many times they throw hurtful words to both of you. It's just the wrong time," Joshua said while looking directly at the road.

"It's my fault. I shouldn't have let it happen. It's because of me that my brother is struggling now," I said.

"No, it's not. And love is never a sin, Braille."

I cried. Isn't it? But is this what is happening?

"You're not the only one who experienced something like that. Even Brent and Dixie, it happened to them too," I looked. "Brent and Dixie are cousins ​​and they have a past. They don't like each other just because of lust. Then, their issue spread. Then they disappeared," he turned to me. "Believe me, it will go away too."

I was still shocked until I got home. I didn't know that Brent and Dixie were cousins. That's why when Dixie forced Brent at the resort, everyone was silent when Brent joked.

Maybe I should get to know Brent and Dixie but for what? For their previous issue? Maybe not.

Despite the issue, Brent still treated me well. But it was also funny when Dixie reacted when she found out about the relationship between me and my brother telling her that she stinks even more than me.

I didn't wait for my brother to come home, I just went to sleep because I was sleepy. Probably from tiredness.

The next morning, I went to the kitchen. Made coffee and toasted a slice of bread. I was eating quietly because my brother was still asleep or maybe he didn't come home. I just held my breath.

I also took care after I had breakfast. I thought I should not go to work. I won't even say goodbye to my brother because I won't let him either. So I hurried to take a shower and get dressed. I also put on makeup but light.

I went to my car but unfortunately, the three people were here.

"Where are you going?" Joshua said with a wide smile on his face.

"N-nothing!"

"Really with your looks right now?" sabi naman ni Frank.

"What are you doing here?"

"We're visiting you. Oh no, your brother ordered us to watch over you!" Brent replied.

I wondered, "what are you talking about? he's still sleeping!"

"He's in the office right now and you're on the monitor of course. That's why you can't leave," Joshua added.

I did nothing but go back inside the mansion. He knows I'm leaving. The whole time I thought he was just sleeping and then I was on the monitor? What did he think of me, a child?

I went to the room to change my clothes. First I put on a t-shirt and jogging pants, then I removed the make-up I had put on and let my long hair down. When I came down, I could hear the laughter of the three in the living room. I know they didn't notice me because they were busy with what they were watching.

I was just stunned when I heard what they were watching.

"Slowly, please!"

"Okay, don't worry!"

'Haluh! What are they watching?'

Of course, to give an answer to my curiosity, I first brewed coffee and then got different kinds of chips. I put it in a big bowl and then brought it to the living room. They still don't notice me. Then I was even more surprised when I heard "ahh!"

I almost dropped the bowl and cup of coffee I was holding.

"Hey, Braille there you are!" Joshua turned to me.

"Let's watch together!" Frank is still there.

"W-what are you watching?"

"Come here!" Brent said.

Taenemish! I'm nervous. But I came closer and then the mouth of the anaconda startled me on the big TV screen so I let go of what I was holding. I screamed out of nowhere.

"3D mask isn't on yet!" Joshua said.

"You fools!"

"The director, not us!" said Frank.

"It's your fault if I'm hospitalized in no time!"

"Coffee is measured before brewing. You must be drinking too much coffee!" Joshua said.

"When does coffee get measured? You guys are nuts!"

Then the three idiots laughed. Because of my annoyance, I just went to the kitchen to get another coffee.
