UIWMSB 32: Finding Braille

Drake's Pov

After the confrontation that happened, Braille suddenly disappeared. I saw Joshua chase after him but I just stood there while Dixie was next to me. I do not know what to do. The company is stuck because if I don't agree to marry Dixie, they will take over the company. But I'm already working in a way that they don't know.

"Leave her alone, Drake. We're getting married soon, are you still going after your stepsister?" Dixie said.

"If it wasn't for what your father does in the company, I wouldn't marry you," I said calmly. It was strong enough for her not to hear and understand what I meant.

She came to me and hugged me but I didn't reciprocate, "I love you, Drake. No one can take you away from me. You're only mine!"

I snapped, "You're crazy!"

In my annoyance, I left her. I thought of going after Braille but when I came out she was gone. I only saw Joshua.

"How did she know about the engagement party?"

"Johannes."

"Bullshit!"

I entrusted Braille to my cousin because I knew he understood what was happening. I also want to protect Braille but I didn't think that he would be the one to give us the reason for this.

Flashback

"This is the only way I know that everything will be alrigth. While I still working to find a way, can you protect my stepsister?" I pleased Johannes.

He tapped my shoulder,"don't worry, dude. Braille will be safe."

"Thank you."

I already mentioned to him what Braille's job will be here in his building. It's still the same as what Braille's job is for me, but not as a personal assistant but as a secretary. I still have faith in Johannes but I am having him investigated. He doesn't know that. The news reached me that he withdrew money amounting to 5.5 million. But I have no intention of talking to him yet. Because when that is confirmed, he will go straight to jail.

I just hope he doesn't do anything stupid to Braille while he's in his power.

End of flashback

I thought you only wanted to steal money, you want Braille too. I will not agree.

"Let me know when you've finished what I'm asking you to do. You know that I have no intention of prolonging Dixie's nonsense," I said but I was looking at the others.

"Roger that. About Johannes, confirmed. We will take care of that."

After talking we parted ways. I didn't hang out with Dixie anymore because I hated her. Because of her stupidity, Braille is now moving away.

I let Braille stay at the condo but she wasn't there. I thought maybe she went to the mansion but I was still disappointed when the guard told me that Braille didn't go there.

"Braille, where are you? Don't torture my brain."

I looked for her wherever I could find her but I was really disappointed. I thought of going to her friend but even Felis didn't know where Braille was. I do not know what to do.

A week passed but no Braille showed up. I can't even give the company time because I'm still looking for her.

"Bro, we will find her. The company has been affected because of what happened. Focus on the company, we will take care of it with Frank and Brent to find Braille," Joshua pleaded.

"If I just stare here, I won't be able to see her. I don't even know if he's in a good condition right now. Even if it's a text or a call, there's no sign."

"Do you think uncle Roberto and aunt Melissa will be happy with what you're doing now? Bro, think about the company!"

I turned to Joshua. I also punched him unexpectedly. Now he is on the floor holding the part of his face that I punched. Frank pushed me and Brent intervened.

"Drake, straighten up! You've really changed!" Frank scolded. "What you're doing right now isn't helping either. The situation is getting worse."

"Separate yourselves first. Give yourself a break, Drake. It won't help if we mess up like this," Brent said.

As he said, that's what happened. Frank helped Joshua stand and Brent left the room with me.

Maybe, he's right. I guess I'm getting too carried away with my concern for Braille.

Third Person Pov

"Make sure Drake never sees his stepsister. You two stay away. I don't want to ruin the day I've been waiting for!"

"You don't have to say that. Because everything is planned. There will be no Braille to be seen here tomorrow."

She gave me a wide smile then went out.

"I won't allow it, he'll take you away from me again. You're all mine, Braille."

Poor Braille.
