Hours passed, Kinn told Porsche to put on his usual uniform and to follow him to the new guest's room. Arm opened the door as he saw them walking down the hallway. The boss of the family entered the room and sat down on a chair in front of the bed where Marco was still resting. He clapped his hands loudly, the guest woke up and looked at him confused. He tried to sit up and took a sip of water from the glass on the night table.
"What can I do for you?" Marco asked.
"You mentioned a gift, I want to see it. I want to make sure that you didn't fool me, you surely understand that I have to act carefully lately" Kinn said.
"Of course... Arm, could you pick that bag I left on the desk, please?" Marco asked with a feeble voice, the guard did as ordered and gave the bag to the Italian guy. He took out a large folder. He picked up a silk robe and stood up, he eventually put the folder on the table in front of Kinn and started unrolling some papers.
"What is this?"
"Did you really think that I wanted to fool you? I really don't understand you sometimes... so, this is the blueprint of the new submarine the Yakuza is using for trade routes to Japan and South America. This kind of vessel is easy to build and even easier to deploy" he said. He took a map with several red dots on it and showed it to Kinn.
"Here, this is the current location of the base where they build these submarines. Four were ready last time I checked and they were already building a fifth vessel. They build them outside the city, near the river, then they move them through the river under barges and take them to this base in the delta of the river. These are the possible locations for new bases if they get caught." Marco explained.
"I see, this is about the specifics?" Kinn asked pointing at another document.
"Yes, drug and weaponry capacity, crew, communication system, everything" Marco replied
"Incredible..."
"I know, Arm, you can take all this to Mr. Kinn's office, I don't need them anymore" Marco ordered. Kinn looked at him confused and asked: "Why are you giving away the only valuable resource that could potentially keep you alive?". Marco smiled at him and patted his shoulder.
"Kinn, I know you have morals, you're a man of honor, I know that you wouldn't kill me without a proper reason, so why should I keep these documents?"
"And what do you suggest to do with all this information?"
"Well, you have several possibilities, you could attack their assets and win a war before they start it, your family will keep control of the whole country for several years before the Yakuza gets enough resources to establish a new permanent base in Thailand" Marco responded.
"Yeah..."
"But I already know that this is what you will do, so you have another choice, a safer one. The Yakuza won't attack you as long as you don't compromise their business. If they try to fight you, then the main family will be able to strike them with lethal precision, crippling their supply lines and stopping all possible actions. I'm sure that you will inform your father about this, that's why I let you keep these documents, I surely don't want you to look like a fool at his eyes" Marco added chuckling.
"It looks like our cooperation will be really fruitful. If you need anything you can ask Arm for that, I'm sure he will do his best to make your stay here as enjoyable as possible. I have to take my leave now, have a nice day" Kinn said and stood up. In the hallway Porsche seemed confused, he came closer to him to say something but his lover interrupted him immediately.
"I don't like him... there is something wrong in all this, he seems too open" Kinn remarked.
"Do you believe that he's trying to distract us from another target?" Porsche asked.
"He's an easy target and it is obvious that he's desperately trying to look as honest as possible, and yet I still can't trust him" Kinn replied as he stepped into the elevator.
"You trust no one after all, this is the main family's curse and you know it really well" Porsche replied.
"All this is happening in the worst moment ever... the minor family is falling apart, we will have to involve our own men in a war that will be a bloodshed. I could ask Marco to use his own resources but I'm not sure how many guards he still have available for a vast operation like this one."
