{Childe walked to the main corridor of what used to be the Qixing's. At the end of the corridor stood a tall slim man. He was wearing a neat brown suit with golden accents. "Master Childe, this is your new secretary for your stay here in Liyue." Ekaterina spoke.}

Childe walked down the corridor and met his new secretary, he went by the name 'Zhongli.' He was quite handsome if Childe said so himself. He held out a hand for his new secretary to shake in which he did. "Nice to meet you, I'm Childe, 11th of the Fatui Harbingers." The brunette nodded. "You as well. How are you liking Liyue so far?" he asked retracting his hand from the others. "It's nice, The weather is pretty hot from Sheznhya"

Ekaterina left the two alone and they went on with their small chit-chat. "If i'm being honest Mr. Zhongli, you don't have to be all formal around me." Childe rubbed the back of his neck and laughed quietly. Zhongli smiled and nodded. Something felt weird in Childe's stomach. It was the feeling of nervousness but it was something else. "The northland bank is the headquarters for the fatui at the moment, you can pick up your first papers there" Childe said poking Zhongli in the arm. "Ah- yes, sorry about that" Zhongli waved to Childe and he waved back. The feeling lingered in Childe's chest it felt weird. Something he's never felt before.

The ginger walked back down the corridor back to his office. He sat in his desk chair and slammed his head on the table. "Hey Signora, do you have any stomach medicine??" The blonde opened the door connecting their offices. "Are you sick or something?" She said raising an eyebrow. "Erm, I don't know my stomach feels weird so.." Signora walked into his office and shut the door. "well you don't look like you're dying so I think you'll be okay." Childe looked up at her "I hate you"  "Oh boo-hoo. We need to take in the rest of your suit" She said bringing materials into his office.

She sat upon her throne. Her skin pale and her hair blonde. Her dress was blue and so was the mask, embrdded with crystal made for a high-class masquerade. "Morax, what are you trying to do?" She spoke, Her voice ringing through the room. "I'm not trying to do anything, i'm just a secretary now." The Tsarista sighed "Is that so?" The brunette nodded. "You can't expect me to work at a funeral parlor for the rest of my life" The woman laughed. "Well, I think my 11th has taken quite a liking to you. Or, thats what Signora said" Morax's eyes narrowed "Really?" "Oh for sure, Id bet you 200,000 mora that you will... never mind." Morax turned around and laughed "Yeah yeah, We'll see."

The first day on the job was easier than expected. Zhongli's main job was to handle a portion of Childe's paperwork and keep up with his schedule. Today all he had to do was get fitted for more outfits and meet the people building a new main building for the Fatui. The brunette knocked on Childes door. On the other side there was noises that anyone would question.

The noise stopped right after Zhongli knocked. It was answered by a woman and Zhongli did not expect that. "Oh, Sorry about that, I had to fist fight this little kid to get him fitted" She said. "Signora you're such a bitch" The blonde picked up a decorative pillow and threw it at the ginger. "Shut your mouth"

Zhongli sat on the edge of the bed while Signora finished pinning the fabrics. Her skill was imcredible. It was lucky the Fatui had someone so skilled to make their outfits for them instead of an outside company. "So, Mr. Childe's Secretary have you been in liyue for long?" Signora said writing something down in a notepad. "Yes, I have. I've lived here for my whole life. It was a shame it was torn to pieces." Childe looked at the man on the bed. "The fatui showed no merch this time, I heard even someone from the Qixing died because of it." Zhongli's expression didn't change but deep down his hatred for the fatui was high. It made his blood boil. "Don't you think it was unnecessary to summon both Osial and Beisht?" They both nodded. "We both agreed that we don't like Liyue way he like home. It just feels wrong destroying a whole nation." Signora said clicking her toungue.

The day went by fast. Zhongli was assigned an office which was pretty small but still enough space to work in. He had packed up his briefcase and cleaned his desk but then a knock sounded on the door. "Come in." He said. The door opened and revealed the 11th Harbinger. "Hey.. I was wondering if you wanted to grab dinner with me?" Zhongli smiled at the request. "Sure."

Due to the fact Liyue has been destroyed and all of its people evacuated, The Fatui set up places to eat as well as hired people to cook for them. They sat down at a makeshift restaurant and began to talk. This time not on business so they talked about more personal things. "Do you have family Childe?" Zhongli asked Childe nodded. "My parents live in Sheznhya still with my siblings not all of them though. My parents and I aren't very close but with my siblings I definitely am. My parents were the ones who sent me to the Fatui." Zhongli took a bite of his meal. "Oh really? Do you like working for the fatui?" The ginger shrugged. "Its neither good or bad. I get to fight and thats all that matters."

The aura that came off of Childe was bloodlust. He's killed so many people he doesn't care anymore. It pained Zhongli becuase Childe was commonly assigned to Liyue. "So.. about you Zhongli.. Hmm.." Childe put a hand on his chin and thought about things to ask his new secretary. "Are you married or dating someone?" He asked. Childe mentally facepalmed. Why the love topic out of everything else he could of asked?!

Zhongli put his chopsticks down and thought about the question for a minute. "I'm not married but I did have someone I loved. She passed awhile ago." Childe stared with wide eyes. "I'm so sorry for asking" The brunette smiled sweetly "it's okay." deep down something pained Childe. Was it the idea that Zhongli had a previous lover? Why was he feeling this? The pervious feeling of nervousness swelled in his chest and he couldn't get it to go away.

While all of those thoughts filled Childe's head, his hands were together and his head rested on them staring deeply at Zhongli. "Erm, Childe, You're staring" Zhongli said blinking a few times. "Ah! sorry, I was thinking about something."

The two said their farewells and headed back home awaiting the next day to come.

Zhongli walked to his apartment the fatui had given him. The Tsarista gave him something a bit nicer than regular secretaries only because he an Ex-Archon. He put his briefcase on a table and unbuttoned his suit. Laying on the bed on his back he stared at the ceiling. Something about Childe made him feel weird. His neatly done orange hair? No, definitely his ocean blue eyes. Zhongli was staring back at Childe when he zoned out. Childes jaw was perfect and Zhongli just wanted to.. No! Zhongli slapped his forehead. "God, I hate this." He hasn't felt this in so long. Ever since Guizhong.
