Jungwon Pov:
Is she gone? Can she hear me? Is she okay?
All those questions rendered my mind as she lied on the bed with her eyes closed. She could be mistaken as asleep if you didn't look at all the blood on her neck. How could I be so stupid to let her go like this? Why didn't I stay?
"Yah! Jungwon-ah, stop thinking about it. She's in our dimension now." Jay spoke. "What?!" I yelled as I got up. "Shh!" Niki said.
"Don't shh me! Your soulmate's still alive and on the otherside! Mine is dead and soon to be with us!" I yelled but yielded myself when I realized.
"She's going to be here with us! Soon!" I enunciated as the eagerness and joy grew within me. "3 minutes Won. 3 minutes." Sunoo spoke.
I started walking around making sure the place was as presentable as possible. Even if we were in another life. It matters. She matters.
"Any minute now." Jake said as his eyes turned gray and looked at the portal. My vision went an indigo color and soon the portal opened. It was her.
"Allow me to help you." I said as I streched a hand out. She took it with a confused look and looked around.
"Where am I? Who are you? What happened?" She asked as she freaked out. "Please, take a seat." I spoke in a serene tone. All for her.
"You're throat must be dry. May I service you with anything to drink?" I said as I inspected her for any injuries. "Um.. Wine." I nodded and snapped my fingers. Soon, a glass of wine poured itself and positioned itself on her hand.
"Better?" I spoke. She nodded and looked at me. I sighed and looked back at her. "Do you remember anything?" I questioned. "I went to sleep and never woke up. That's all." She said.
"At least it was peaceful." Jay spoke. I glanced at him and he straighten himself. "I beg your pardon. We don't get people so often." I spoke. She nodded and I continued.
"Can you tell me what happened?" She asked. "I left. I wasn't supposed to." I said with head hanging low. "What do you mean?" She asked.
"You... You're my soulmate." I said as I held my wrist out next to hers. A red line connected from her wrist to mine and she looked at me.
"Wonnie?" She spoke. "You know me?" I questioned as we all looked at her. "I saw you in my dreams. You saved me from being hit by a bus." She spoke with a giggle.
"That... wasn't... really a dream." I said scratching my head. "Of course it was. I fell asleep and saw it." She said with a little laugh. "Won-ah, you have to tell her." Heesung spoke. I sighed in defeat and nodded.
"Do you know why you're here?" I asked. "Not really. I don't even know where I am." She said with yet another laugh. "You passed on to another life." I said with a broken voice. Half because I was happy she was finally able to see me and half because I had to remind her she was here.
"I- died?" She asked as she stared at me blankly. "I'm sorry." I spoke as my tears fell. "For what? What happend?" She asked lifting my head up.
"We'll go so you can talk. Meet us at Province Lagoon." Heesung spoke before they went away. "Wonnie, please look at me." She spoke.
With the few courage I had in me, I faced her and it was then I saw her eyes. She needed answers. But I was too weak.
"Please tell me." She requested once more. "And if I'm at fault? Then what?" I asked, still on my knees. "Wonnie, I will forgive you. I believe you know that." She said holding my hand.
"Please forgive me." I paused. She looked at me and I surrendered. "They... They took you. They slashed your throat. That's why you felt thirst. Lack of blood here transfers to thirst." I spoke.
"Won-" "I'm sorry." I said with tears once more. "If I had just stayed there that night. If I had set a barrier. If I-" "Shh. It was my time. Nothing could've changed that and you know that." She spoke wiping my tears.
"You're- you're not mad?" I asked. "How can I? We all live to die. You tried, Wonnie. You protected me for as long as you could. And for that I thank you." She spoke caressing my cheek.
"Do you want to stay here?" I asked. "If I can. I believe you can continue protecting me." She said sitting on the floor with me.
"We're immortal now. But I'd still like to keep you close." I spoke holding her hand. "And I would love to be here. With you." She said resting her head in my shoulder.
"So, here it is?" I asked for verification. "Wherever you are." I smiled at her words and pecked her cheek. "You're finally here. I promise I won't let anything happen to you." I said holding her dearly in my arms.
