after all the forging was done i we went our separate ways brom, eragon, and murtagh went back to the varden the rest remained with the elves and we soon arrived at ceunon i was of course welcomed into the grand walls where i ordered my "father" to surrender when he refused i had the soldiers execute him taking over as lord of the city where i named my little sister regent after making sure of her loyalty before i let the elves into the city after it was taken and we dealt with the very few that were galbatorix supporters we set off to rendezvous with the varden who were waiting for us at the burning plains
"welcome back, lord hadrian" ajihad said i nodded to him and to orrin, as well as to orik who returned the greeting
"ceunon is very much ours" i said
"we have taken belatona, and dras-leona, i have sent a contingent to aroughs commanded by eragon's cousin, i would prefer if the elves and a rider or two joined to take the city at a quicker pace" ajihad said
"i do not speak for the elves, as for the riders, brom you go, i trust in your experience" i said he nodded and left the tent to prepare
"i shall send men as well, but this will not do, we need a leader who will have full command over the entire army we cannot have us at each others necks" izlanzadi said
"what do you propose then" orrin asked
"i propose that lord hadrian take command of the full army, of all races it will be to him that we follow, he is our ace, and it is to him that i seek advice from first, because of the dragon blood flowing through his veins" izlanzadi said i turned and glared at her but held in my want to talk back
"i agree to this" ajihad said
"i and my kin as well" orik said
"the elves will of course follow him, since it was i who chose to bring this forward" the elven queen swore then again she had ulterior motives but no one needed to know what those were quite yet
"very well, surda will follow, lord hadrian as well" orrin said very well aware he was cornered
"do i not get a say in this" i asked
"NO" practically every other leader including the other riders said and i grumbled
"we will remain here until aroughs is dealt with i doubt it will take long with an elven force and a rider to deal with the situation" i said the group nodded
it turned out to be a good idea as we quickly conquered the whole of alagaesia in our little rebellion quickly finding ourselves in front of uru-baen
"i shall enter in alone, as everyone else will be quickly defeated by the king breaking into your mind, i have proven to defend against it and he is expecting me to be a good spy, and join his side" i said they all nodded they couldn't really argue against it he was right
"when you here a dragon's roar, you are to begin the assault" i said they nodded i rose and entered my dragons following quickly behind me
