Last night was something I never wanted to mention again. Not because I was ashamed, but because if they knew they would get pissed. If they knew I was at a random Motel boy's house instead of hiding from the FBI, they would most likely get really mad at me and my choices.
My eyes opened. My head spun making my vision blurry. I woke up in the motel room, how did I get here? I don't remember leaving Simons's room. "That hot blonde boy carried you here." Yana looked at me with a smirk. I just looked at her with an "I don't care" face. "Don't look at me like that girl, you have some explaining to do," Yana mothered me. My gaze went over to Ashlyn who was dead eyeing me," Yea, Iris, you do have some explaining to do." her tone annoyed me. "Why?" was all I could say. All I wanted to say, made Everly laugh. "Leave her alone! She doesn't have to tell us if she doesn't want to." Everly backed me up and gave me a fist bump and stared into Ashlyn's annoyed eyes. Camron walked out of the bathroom with her body wrapped in a towel, "Oh, Iris, Your awake." She looked at me smiling. The blood rushed to my face quickly, "Put some clothes on." I said, Looking down. She giggled and walked back into the restroom. I looked around the room, Everly and Camron must have slept on each side of me, Ashlyn slept on the floor. and everyone else fit themselves somewhere. Gwen was talking to Ava, who was annoyed. Gwen never was part of "The group" She was just there. The only thing she did was try to pry secrets out of everyone. Which she was most likely doing to Ava right now. Aurora sat there just staring at the television, which played some random cartoon. Everly was doing her makeup next to me. Her legs were still snuggled into the blanket. Ashlyn crawled over and looked up at me. "I love you." She smiled which warmed my heart, "Love you too." She hugged me and we both laid down, she laid her head on my chest. "We are going to get out of the mess." She said staring at the wall across from us. I stayed silent, what else could I say? I don't know.
Camron got all dressed and so did everyone else. Everly's bright makeup showed her personality. Like always, she wore a bright purple eyeshadow with a wing of eyeliner. She had a light pink blush that commented on her cheekbones. She had a nude-toned lip with a darker lip liner. We gripped our backpacks and got on our way. I realized I would never see that beautiful blonde boy again. It didn't hurt as much as I thought it would, but it was fine. I was fine, I had too much on my plate to worry about a boy I met in an old motel. We left the motel in a hurry. I look over to Gwen who has a sneaky look on her face. "Gwen...?" I asked suddenly. She looked at me and then exhaled. She opened up her backpack to show a bunch of snacks and drinks. "Holy shit, where did all that come from?" Camron asked with a growing grin on her face. Gwen laughed. "Don't be mad?" I nod with a concerned, yet stern look on my face but yet I nodded. "I used a screwdriver to unscrew that old vending machine down the hall." Gwen laughed. I chuckled to myself; Ashlyn looks over at me to remind me of the time we did the same thing. Ashlyn and I have done stuff like that several times. Yana went straight to her mothering lecture before she gripped a bag of Fanions. We all kept walking. Our legs were sore from running throughout yesterday so we walked till we could build up our stamina again. My backpack had things only I would need Water, snacks, the crystals I got from my Ex-girlfriend, Notebook, and a pistol. Yes, you heard me right a pistol. We were being tracked by the FBI and I'm not scared to kill a bitch. Of course, nobody else knew I had it with me. Camron slowed down to come to my side. "Hey," she said with a smile. I smiled back, "Hello Camron". We talked about stupid things till we all started to get hungry, we found a small little cafe to take a break and refuel. We stepped inside and sat down; it was more calming than I expected. It had nice cool air conditioning which brushed against my skin. I ordered a black iced tea, no sweetener, and a blueberry muffin. I scarfed down the muffin and then sipped on the iced tea. Everyone else was talking about whatever they were talking about, but I sat there. Like usual I let my mind run with thoughts, I gripped the notebook and pulled it out of my backpack. I had a running mind; I had a one hundred and twenty-five IQ, and my mind would run faster and faster. I carried a notebook with me. I love true crime; my calling is to be in the FBI BAU. If I remembered or calculated something about a certain topic, I would write it down right away. I've been doing this since I was thirteen years old, as a thirteen-year-old, I had a one hundred ten IQ which was above average for a thirteen-year-old girl. Ashlyn sat next to me, "What are you writing this time? The amount of Arsonist has brown hair?" She joked. I laughed " Forty Percent." She looked at me surprised, "What?" I smirked lowering my head down to keep writing, "Forty percent of Arsonist have brown hair." I shrugged as she just stared at me, "You are scary" She snickered.
We started walking again after using the restroom and eating our little lunch. We kept walking through the little town. The wind blowing through our hair, and our minds running through every possibility.
